  My Old English Sheepdog, Skye, absolutely adores her visits to her groomer, Cadence. We truly appreciate Cadence’s meticulous attention to detail, which results in Skye looking stunning every single time. Highly recommend Cadence to anyone seeking top-notch grooming services!

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my first experience with Petco in St. Johns was very disappointing. I brought my Siberian Husky, Blue, in for grooming. Blue has been professionally groomed for years and has never had any complaints from any groomer other than sometimes being a little difficult when it comes to nail trims, which I completely understand. What I do not understand is the overall quality of the grooming she received. Her paw fur was not trimmed, but honestly that is the least of my concerns since it's possible she didn't cooperate. The biggest issue was that she appeared to have barely been brushed at all. As the photos show, she left looking worse than when she arrived. It honestly looked like no proper blowout or deshedding process was done. For the past five years, Blue was groomed at PetSmart and always came home looking clean, fluffy, and professionally groomed. After moving to the area, I decided to try Petco because it was closer and more convenient. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet even basic expectations. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I also believe honest feedback is important. Based on this experience, Blue will not be returning to this location.

  TRAIN YOUR STAFF PROPERLY! We have been with Petco member for 4.5years at this point. Lexi has been wonderful taking care our dog since he was a puppy. We haven't brought our dog to get groom since Lexi left (4mo ago). Last March, we brought our dog and they put Tristan in charge. tbh, Our dogs look the same even before and after he got groomed. She didn't do a proper service like we ordered. We felt really disappointed. Last April, I booked again online specifically with Andrea for May appt, because she knows our dogs and our dogs knows her. When i came in, suddenly they changed the groomer without any notice and they put Tristan again in charge. I was arguing with Andrea about it. And Andrea didn't seems to care about losing customer just because they are already overbook and have short of staff. She just explained because your dogs doesn't have any regular groomer (since Lexi left), so we just gave your dogs to whoever has leisure time. my questions is, WHAT IS THE POINT TO PICK YOUR GROOMER WHEN YOU MAKE THE APPT ONLINE IF THE GROOMER THEMSELVES CAN RUNAWAY FROM THE RESPONSIBILITY FROM IT JUST BECAUSE OUR DOG IS NOT THEIR REGULAR CUSTOMER? And when I asked them why they didn't give a notice if that's okay to swap to another groomer, and her answer was "I didn't really think about it, because we are understaff and overbook so we just do our best by keeping the appt for the customer, i do apologize about this issue" yes she is apologize but not genuine, she said it like a robot machine and not even care about it. Really dissapointed, if i can give minus review, i will give minus review for them, I feel like 1 star too generous for me to give it to them! If my dogs not celebrating his bday next week, i will definitely cancel the appointment! REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!

  Year ago gave 5-star deleted as 2 bad experiences back to back. They Cancelled my appointment w/o my knowing though was then finally added back and no one here when I can in at open yet it’s been 5 hours 15 minutes ruining my Saturday. Avoid just not worth it. Then they were to leave her at 5/8” but entirely shaved her down. Editing to add now closing in on 6HOURS!!!! Mgr at least worked out a fair settlement at the end
