- BSBailey SpanglerJun 25, 20261.0I wanted to try a new groomer hoping for a price break but ended up paying $20 more than I usually do and $25 more than I originally agreed to for this Petco! The website says a bath and cut starts at $38 but this location says they don’t do anything for less than $60. The price I agreed to when I made the appointment online was $65. Then they added a $10 fee for using scissors on his ears instead of clippers and a $6 “materials fee” when it’s a given that they’ll use their own materials and that should be included in the base price? She asked me if I wanted her to use scissors on his ears or the clippers but she didn’t tell me that scissors would be an additional $10. All that and a tip made a 5 lb puppy cost $90 for his haircut. No special style, just one length all over his body. If they can’t groom a puppy without using scissors and need to charge extra for their materials then the base price should’ve been $75, not falsely advertising a $38 price. I called to discuss refunding possibly the materials fee and scissors fee and they were no help. I do not recommend, they’ll just add fees to your bill without discussing them with you first.

I panicked but Sydney reassured me and said she'd be able to take care of them within the next hour! I ran home and brought them in and when I picked them up several hours later they were happy and beautiful and flea free. Thank you Sydney and thank you. Petco!
