  I took my new Bernerdoodle in for grooming. They were great with my squirley boy. We will definitely be back.

  Very disappointed in professional customer service at the grooming area . They always work short handed and than the customer gets told one thing and to come for another appointment because he felt bad that our groomer was out sick. He communication skills are extremely poor, because he didn’t hold up to what he said he was going to do at 3pm on our 2 dogs as far as to at least do the nail trim and not their baths because we were not his clients. We showed up on time 3pm that was time set by him and waited for him after he was 10 minutes late. He got very rood and said “ we were more than welcome to go to another groomer because of not being satisfied with his service “ there was a Poodle waiting the same time we got there and she was SCHEDULED for a BATH and nail trim. He was going to take her over us. When I questioned so why a bath for poodle and not our 2 dogs. That’s when groomer ( male worker ) gave the smartalic comment. I spoke with manager and she explained bath situation the they only have 2 groomers and 1 called out and they get assigned their own Clint’s. The guy that worked today didn’t explain it that way to us. Needless to say we WON’T ever use Petco grooming services again. Becareful and watch what your charged to. Short hair dogs are cheaper price than long hair and they like to try and charge everyone for long hair dog price. What happened to giving great customer service now a days and with respect.

  I took my dog in yesterday as I have cancer and haven’t been able to do it myself for quite a few months so he’s went to Petco about three times now each time I take him there is something wrong with what they’ve done. They’re charging extraordinary prices for professional grooming, and services that are not provided yesterday when I picked him up he looked fine until he got up on the bed and I started giving him a closer look when we got home he had all kinds of mats underneath his armpits and his chest that were not brushed out or de-matted and I told them when I dropped him off that he need to be de-matted and brushed out I was charged 72 something dollars I left a $10 tip. I always tip good and I bought him a toy so my bill ended up being $92 and something this morning I noticed that when he was in the light, I could see that they cut one of his ears trimmed it and didn’t do the other and it’s a big difference not by a hair refraction it’s 2 inches And last night, I had to take a warm washcloth to his little eyes where he been crying so evidently he was not treated properly and they did not do the job I paid them to do. I will never ever ever take my dog back there I will look for a professional groomer that cares about their job and cares about what they’re doing to a little dog. Shame on you Petco you need to hire professional Groomers if you’re going to charge professional prices.
