  Bought a fire angel fish here and it had velvet. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until my other fish started showing signs. Lasted five days then died. Now my 5 year old fish have spots on them. Some of my fish that have spots on them are worth over 1k. Having to treat a 200 gallon tank and spend many hundreds of dollars getting rid of his parasite. Thanks petco. Avoid buying saltwater fish from here!!!! FYI I called the number you left in comments and told them about the review comment to call Petco so I did this. The response I received was no one knew what was going on or how to even respond to me calling about this. So to make matters worse the customer service is worse than the diseased fish.

  The staff at this petco are so nice . They were helpful asked me if I needed help with fish . The cashier was so nice . More people need to be like that do good get good thanku again sincerely Mr.Sparkles:)and family.

  They have a great program called Vital Care. $20 monthly and unlimited claw clipping and toothbrushing. It pays back $15 of points monthly which I use to buy dog food, so it's really only $5.00 monthly. There are many other benefits with this program too.The groomers are all fantastic, especially Luci. My dogs adore her!

  I usually get cat grass at pet supplies plus. They ran out. Unfortunately, you guys charge $10 for grass which is $4 more than what I pay at pet supplies plus. Petco is notoriously overpriced so I’m not surprised. My girl needs her grass so it is what it is, but after what I witnessed after my purchase, I won’t be returning again. During my visit, I saw very old vomit in the kittens cage right in front of their very dirty litter box. I told a cashier about it and she looked immediately overwhelmed and didn’t seem like she cared. She was literally stumbling over her words. It was wild. I watched her tell who I believe was the manager who thought I had already walked away and this compassionless woman carelessly said “is it really gross?” like she didn’t care or want to deal with it. I said to her loudly. “Yeah it’s gross, it’s vomit, and they can’t even get to their litter box without stepping in it”. She instantly changed her tone and acted friendly and like she cared when she turned and saw me. She was clearly startled and it was the fakest interaction I’ve ever had. I hope she doesn’t have any animals at home. I told her I would happily clean it if they would let me. She didn’t say anything so I walked away. Animals can’t talk and they can’t clean up after themselves. The least we can do as humans is advocate for them. You should not have animals you aren’t going to take care of and care about. There are kittens in there that are teething and uncomfortable. They had no toys and wanted to chew on everyone that came to the cage. They are bored and looked frustrated. The litter box was disgusting. You only have one in there for three kittens so you should be cleaning it throughout the day. If I was the rescue that had the kittens in your store and saw how they are being “cared” for I would immediately remove them and never use Petco again. If I find out who the rescue is, I’ll be contacting them.
