- NCNathan CarlsonJul 16, 20265.0I’ve had my cat Chi-Chi for the last 2 1/2 years. I got her from a farm after she was found in a parking lot in Davie at one week old. She’s always been a little nervous and skittish when it comes to new things. At first, when I came to this office, I used to come with her to every appointment. After a couple appointments, I started to leave her with the staff. I could notice her being less and less nervous as we continued to go. In the past, she used to cower and hide for hours after a visit and after this one she hid for about 20 minutes and then was back to normal. I just wanted to say thank you to the staff. Both of the front desk girls were super nice when I dropped off and picked up. The doctors are super caring and very detailed. As well as the nurse who personally called me was super sweet and detailed how the visit went. How she described Chi-Chi and their interaction I could tell that they made a true connection and she was really cared for. I wanted to thank the doctors and staff at Sawgrass Banfield again and let them know that you guys are truly making a difference and it’s much appreciated 😻❤️

How long was my dog there without supervision to get hurt? What quality of cage do they have??? Terrible first experience in this place!!!!!

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
What are the regular operating hours of Banfield Pet Hospital - Sawgrass?
We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Does Banfield Pet Hospital provide emergency care services?
No, we do not offer emergency care, but during hospital hours you can call us for urgent care advice or referrals. Outside hospital hours, please contact a local emergency hospital.
