the service is good even when I have to wait long period pf time to be attended even with appointment, the insurance plan is a SCAM !! you will be ending paying for a non needed service since it only covers “preventive” they started charging me 26 monthly and I had to cancel because they have been charging for over 6 months 46 dollars. Be aware of the cancellation penalty since it is a locked contract for one entire year you must pay in full before you cancel. Do your research before getting this insurance scam

I've been going to this hospital for the past 4 years and I love it! Dr. Villasmil is my favorite doctor as he is always understanding and makes the best out of bad situations. He helped my dog with his constant diarrhea after getting his dental cleaning. Andrea also helped a few years back when we came right at closing after my dog had ingested roach killer. The ladies in the front always meet us with compassion and give my dog all the love!

Dr. Díaz is the BEST Veterinarian ever 🥹🙏🏽 my baby Mocha was very inflamed and her mammary glands were huge. Other doctors didn’t seem to want to spay her I was searching for a doctor to operate her, calling all the Banfield’s near me and it wasn’t until I spoke to Dr Diaz that I saw the light at the end of the tunnel. 🥹🙏🏽I was so worried she was at risk to get that uterus infection that means life or death. Dr.Diaz was very attentive, helpful and concerned . After my consultation , as soon as someone canceled a surgery the Banfield team was able to squeeze Mocha in . I’m so grateful. I have peace of mind now. One million Thankyou’s for Dr. Diaz And Claudia and the rest of the Banfield team. Thank you so much for treating my baby and I with love, care and urgency. Sincerely from Esmeralda and Mocha 🫶🏽🙏🏽🥹

We did have a very bad experience with the plan we monthly paid, that plan include vaccination, meds and the spay surgery. At the time of our dog spay they started delaying the process. The 1st time they postponed the surgery, the 2nd time they alleged that our dog was in heat (she was not) and the 3rd time the surgeon (Dr. Diaz @ the Silverlake office) told me that if she is in heat he has to charge another 660$ extra for the surgery. At that time I understood that they didn't want to do the surgery unless we paid the extra money, he also mentioned something about trust, trust that I personally doubt at the same moment he said that. We are totally dissatisfied and disappointed with the service they offer. Hope this review will help to others.

If I could give a zero I would. After reading quite a few reviews on this place and seeing how all of them had bad I of course decided to still try it as They advertised a special for free physical. So I thought why not my dog is only 2 years old and I wanted pet insurance but needed a physical to get it. I figured why not at least I can see if he is healthy. OMG! Disappointed did not even come close I literally wanted to just walk out. After 30 minute wait with an appointment and then put in another room for another 30 minutes to wait some more. Finally the nurse came in and first thing she asked for was vaccines of course! Then she says that I am due for another rabies vaccine yet my dog is 2.5 not due until 3 y/o but of course why not push as much services as we can. If you don’t already know, this is what Banfield is known for pushing as many services when it’s not needed to make a profit. SAD! Let begin by saying their was no one in the waiting room and the nurse went to get the doctor I could hear their entire conversation about why did I bring the dog then and they were just wasting their time since I did not want to vaccinate or do anything to the dog. This is without having examined my dog yet! Apparently they spoke in Spanish and little did they know I know Spanish very well. So I was livid at how unprofessional this staff and doctor were knowing I was a door away. She came in with such arrogance as if she was determined to just make this quick since she knew I was there for the free exam. She literally examined my dog for 3 minutes as I actually timed it. Don’t advertise a free exam if you are not going to actually do a good physical. Non the less maybe had they been more professional and not so money hungry I would have considered the basic teeth cleaning or anything he may have needed which again he is only 2.5 years old. I will never support nor ever give my money to this business because they truly don’t care about your pet. Please be aware! Do not take your pet here even if it’s free. They do nothing and hence the reason they don’t charge you for the exam. It is only a way of getting you to buy their plans or do a service. Do not fall for the scam!!!!!BEWARE! I am beyond disappointed and will NEVER return to this place or any Banfield!! The doctor’s name was Maria Rincon who saw my dog for 3 minutes since I wanted no services at this time. Location was 182nd and Pembroke Pines.
