  Yesterday I called to get an appointment for my senior Chihuahua, who was very sick & they were able to get me in to see Dr. Haley McMullen that same day. Dr. McMullen was very compassionate & kind to my Laudi! I had never been to this clinic before and the level of treatment & care exceeded my expectations, as well as, the prices being fair. I am thrilled to have found Ellenton Animal Hospital!!!

  We’re decently new to the area and hadn’t found a new vet local just yet. One of our girls, our lab, was having some GI issues and after day 3 I had to do something. I booked an appointment online at 3am for that morning at 8a. These girls were all so sweet & welcoming. I had to call later that same day & send photos over a new related concern & Dr McMullen called me like an hour later to address it. Luckily my girl is on the mend and doing way better thanks to these amazing people. We have found our new vet!

  Friendly atmosphere, Dr. Sarah and Kasi were both great! Took good care of my Frenchy, Milo is feeling better already!!

  We recently learned our newest rescue (formerly a homeless, wayward dog) is heartworm positive. As a fur parent, that's scary to learn your baby could face a fatal outcome if not treated immediately and properly. After a disappointing experience with another clinic lacking compassion and lack of action for the potentially fatal condition, I sought alternatives. I Googled "kind, compassionate, affordable vet near me," and Ellenton Animal Hospital was first on the list. From the easy same-day appointment booking on their website to the friendly front desk staff, vet tech, doctor, and their overall compassion, it was a win for my baby and eased my mind. They understood the situation and my concerns. After a few tests, we received scripts and a detailed care plan with a guided timeline. The new patient pricing was a bonus, and the veteran's discount is an added benefit. However, their kindness, compassion, and understanding in the moment are the most satisfying. I will be bringing her and her companion, also a formerly homeless, wayward dog, back for boosters and all future treatments, especially Baby Nova's heartworm treatment. If I could give them more than five stars, I would. Highly recommend if you're looking for a vet that truly cares about animals.
