We have been taking our dogs to Cristies Grooming for many years, and I cannot say enough good things about them. They have cared for our 2 Golden Retrievers Bailey & Rosie as well as our sweet Papillon, Willow who sadly passed away last year.
When Willow became sick, the staff continued to treat her with such kindness, patience and compassion. They always took great care for her and made sure she was comfortable, which meant so much to our family during such a difficult time.
Now we have a new puppy, Teddy and we wouldn't trust anyone else with his grooming needs. One of the things I appreciate most about Cristies is how clean their facility is. I have been to several grooming salons over the years when it comes to cleanliness, professionalism and the genuine care they show every dog that comes through their doors. They are easy to schedule with, and your dog will smell good for a long time. And that is saying a lot with Goldens who like to roll around in the grass every day!!
If you're looking for a groomer who truly loves animals and treats them like family. I highly recommend Cristies Grooming in Palm Bay, and we are grateful for everything they have done for our dogs as well as our family during difficult and good times.
Bailey is my 9 year old and Rosie is our 3 year old Rescue

My father is 77 years old, and we have been bringing our dogs to Cristy’s Grooming for about 25 years — as long as I can remember. Cristy and her staff have always treated him with kindness and respect.
Because my father is elderly, the staff always come out to assist him and help bring the dogs safely into the shop. They have always been patient, careful, and professional with both him and our dogs.
The grooming itself is always excellent. Our dogs come out looking beautiful, clean, and properly groomed. You can tell Cristy and her team have real experience and take pride in their work.
We truly appreciate the care, respect, and professionalism they have shown our family over the years. I highly recommend Cristy’s Grooming.

I will never bring my dog(s) here ever again!
We brought our husky here today for a grooming appointment. As I was standing at the entrance holding my 2-year-old in his car seat about to open the door for my husband holding our dog on the leash, a male employee aggressively shoved the door open from the inside. The door opens outward and nearly took me out, almost smashed my toddler’s foot could’ve broken his foot it was that aggressive, and nearly sent me falling backward off the curb into the active parking lot. I am currently pregnant, and this was an incredibly dangerous situation that could have ended horribly.
Instead of apologizing, the man aggressively snatched our dog's leash from my husband's hand, muttered "I'll take it from here," and didn't even hold the door for us to come inside to discuss our dog's care.
I was Uncomfortable with leaving our dog with someone so reckless and disrespectful so I sent my husband back in to get our dog, my husband went back inside to get our dog and explain why we were leaving. The employee doubled down, went completely wide-eyed and erratic, and told my husband that if we "didn't like his kindness, that's our problem." “I’m programmed to be here anyways”…..
To make matters worse, management/the owner defended him, claiming they "wouldn't treat the dogs that way." Also stated that she is a “professional groomer”…. I don’t care who you think are, your “title” doesn’t make you a decent human being. Your lack of understanding and professionalism is beyond absurd for your source of business and title you stand so proudly behind. You put my child in danger not one but 2, because I’m also high risk pregnant. If I could seek legal action I would in a heartbeat. Especially after the conversation you had with my husband of lacking any accountability and making excuses for yourself. That’s sick.
If a business treats pregnant women and toddlers with this much aggression and carelessness, they cannot be trusted with a defenseless animal. Absolutely appalled by the lack of professionalism, safety, and basic human decency.
UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER:
your response intentionally leaves out the fact that my husband walked right back inside immediately after the incident to confront both the employee and management face-to-face about nearly striking our toddler.
You did not step forward to "assist"—the leash was snatched, entry was barred, and your employee became erratic and hostile when confronted about his recklessness. To publicly rewrite reality instead of addressing a severe safety liability is shameful. Future clients, do not trust this response; their lack of integrity matches their lack of safety.
FINAL UPDATE: The absolute audacity of this owner to publicly target a mother and a high-risk pregnant woman just to protect a grown man who blindly opened a door into a toddler and a pregnant woman. Trying to tell us to "seek services elsewhere" is hysterical considering we already explicitly refused your service, took our husky, and walked out.
Furthermore, publicly crying about the "distress" of your staff is entirely shameful and disrespectful. The only person who was in actual distress and disbelief was me, ma’am… which is exactly why I wouldn’t trust you with my dog and refused to ever come back. Instead of taking accountability, you are actively gaslighting a high-risk pregnant woman who was carrying her toddler, playing the victim after a terrifying incident where I literally watched my life flash before my eyes.
Let's be clear: we have never met this employee, and neither has our dog. There was nothing welcoming about this encounter. Instead, I had to watch my dog get aggressively snatched right out of my husband's hands.
Instead of writing these pitiful, defensive responses, take this lesson and figure out how to safely greet a customer and welcome them into your store. Learn to just apologize for the disrespect and the safety hazard, because that’s what an actual decent human being does.
