  In Oviedo Vidina Place location. Unfortunately, our experience was not a good one. Our appointment was at 2:30 PM, and when we realized we were running about 10 minutes late, we called ahead to let them know. We were told that because we were late, we could expect an additional wait of approximately 30 minutes to an hour. When we arrived at 2:40 PM, there were already two representatives assisting other customers, and the check-in process took quite a while. By the time we reached the counter, it was around 3:08PM. After checking in, we continued waiting, and we noticed another customer who arrived after us was called in before we were. Unfortunately, the overall atmosphere did not feel very welcoming or inviting, and the customer service experience did not make us feel welcomed . The facility also did not give us the clean and pleasant impression we were hoping for when bringing in our fur baby. We ultimately decided to leave and take our pet to another Banfield location that has a much nicer and more welcoming environment. We understand that delays happen, but the overall experience could have been handled much better.

  I had been going to this location for years and I have seen the quality go down. Back in May, I took my pet first thing in the morning because I noticed the night prior that he had been lethargic and stopped eating. I explained all the concerns to the attending nurse and he didn’t really seem concerned. I asked if there was a possibility that an ultrasound / xray could be done in case he had swallowed or consumed anything that would’ve caused it. I was told that it “wasn’t necessary” and that they were gonna run a few tests. I left my pet in their care and went to work, explaining that I would be back at 5:30 since they asked me to drop him off. I left work at 4:30 to be there by five. As I was driving there at 4:30 they were already calling me that “when was I gonna come and get him?” I arrived to be told that it was “some sort of infection” we didn’t specify which one, & that they had given him some medication’s, that bloodwork came back fine, though he still had not eaten under their care either ($800 for this mind you)- I asked about the x-ray and they said if his condition didn’t improve, that I could just bring him back tomorrow and they would do it. They sent me home with appetite enhancers.. An hour into being home, his condition severely deteriorated even more, he went from being lethargic, (the condition I brought him in and was sent home with him in) to falling over. I had to rush him to the local ER - Where he was hospitalized for the weekend and then on and off for weeks to come. Thousands of dollars later, he is thankfully alive. But the dismissive treatment that I received at Banfield will forever haunt because had I not trusted my instincts , I wouldve lost my baby.
