  Second appointment in a row at Petco that my Husky shed more after the grooming than when I took her in. The groomer claimed that this was normal and I would have to brush her out for the next few days to get the hair that the shampoo loosened up -- basically saying that I should do the groomer's work for her after I already spent over $100 for the service. I've been to other groomers who manage to deliver my dog without a single piece of loose fur, and I could look forward to the house being relatively fur-free for a couple of weeks after the grooming. But with this recent grooming, my dog is still dropping fur everywhere even after I've brushed her daily. As I mentioned, the grooming session before this at Petco was just as disappointing. I called the store then and voiced my displeasure and they responded that if I brought my dog back in I would be charged full price for another session. That was ludicrous, of course, and I thought that I would never return again, but I like Petco and decided after more than a month later that I would give them another chance because they did a good job with my dog in the past (before the last two sessions), but I won't be going back if this is the kind of service I can expect.

  My pup has been going here since he was a little puppy and Jules is AMAZING with him! He has a little bit of people anxiety, not aggressive just gets scared and nervous, and she is just so very patient with him. She takes things at his pace and helps him with his anxiety and by the end of the visit he is doing a lot better with her because she made him feel so comfortable. If his anxiety really is that bad she always gives me options to bring him back to finish the grooming so we don’t stress him out too much but that has yet to be a thing. He comes out looking great! Each and every time. She is able to clean his ears and teeth no problem. Also gives him a nice nail trim. He also gets the shed treatment which is very nice for the kind of coat he has. He is especially happy from this recent experience because he was able to get a good amount of hair off for the summer, so he is feeling very light, free, and fancy lol. She really is just so great with him, it is like a grooming/ therapy session for him lol. The comfort she gives me and my sweet boy is alone worth every dollar spent.
