  I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I felt I had to say something. I’ve been to this Petco multiple times this week, and every single time I’ve noticed the same behavior. The tortoise repeatedly tries to climb out of its enclosure, as if it’s desperately trying to escape. It honestly looks very sad, and it’s heartbreaking to watch. I’m not someone who knows how to care for reptiles, so I don’t want to make assumptions. I just can’t help but wonder whether there are procedures in place for when employees notice this kind of repeated behavior in the animals. If this is a sign that something isn’t right, I really hope management can look into it and make any changes needed to improve its welfare.

  So I called today to ask about the veterinarian services that they offer. Apparently it was not available at this location and instead of the associate informing me which location was, and I asked for the address she proceeded to hang up the phone. This call was made today, July 29 at 8:31 PM. I then proceeded to call back and the team leader on duty name is Bryan proceeded to say oh we were just busy and a lot of people walked in and you know we’re closing soon. That is not good customer service that you should give to customers over the phone whether you’re busy or not. If you were that busy you should not have answered the phone to begin with.

  Always shop at Petco Employees are very helpful plus its a safe place to take my rescue who is still adjusting to a normal life - Thank You

  About 5 months ago I went here in looks for a pet. I found myself picking out a very special rat in the end. The way the staff cared about all the animals was really special to see, they even mentioned them by name! Everyone here is very knowledgeable about pet care. This really kind woman helped me pick the best stuff for Alice (her current name) and made sure I was completely set for Alice and I’s future. She now currently has a 4 story enclosure, has tried every snack imaginable, and is able to travel with me and my family. She’s the best little rodent I could’ve ever asked for! Thank you guys!
