We have been using MetroWest Veterinary Clinic for almost five years, since we adopted our dog Frida when she was only a few months old. Unfortunately, the decline in the quality of their services has been abysmal. The clinic seems to have serious organizational and operational problems. I received last-minute email informing me that appointment had been canceled and changed by the clinic only a few hours before the scheduled time, without any real confirmation or acknowledgement from my side. What if I had not checked my email? That is not professionalism. Appointment was confirmed weeks in advance and that reflects a serious lack of consideration and communications with clients. Careless and disrespect for client's time. There is also an extremely high rotation of veterinarians, which makes continuity of care very difficult. Every visit seems to involve a different vet, different communication styles, and different understandings of the case. No real consistency or accountability. One experience was particularly inappropriate and uncomfortable. During an appointment, a male veterinarian repeatedly used the word “sexy” in conversation with me while I was alone in the room with my dog and another male staff member. Completely unprofessional , unnecessary and unacceptable behavior in a medical environment. What has become most frustrating is dismissive attitude by the clinic's staff and management. Repeating scripted phrases like "I'm sorry" or "I understand" means absolutely nothing when there is no real effort to resolve the problem, improve communication, or take responsibility. At some point, excessive politeness stops sounding empathetic and starts sounding performative and dismissive. Clients trust this clinic, I did. Our pets are part of our families. Basic organization, accountability, respect, communication and professionalism should not be optional. We are paying customers trusting this clinic with beloved family members. Maintaining appointments, communicating clearly, treating people respectfully, and operating with professionalism should be the minimum standard, not the exception. After almost five years as a client, I am honestly shocked by the level of disorganization, poor customer service, and lack of responsibility that this clinic now demonstrates compared to when we first became clients years ago. I no longer feel welcomed, respected or confident in the quality of care and management this clinic provides. For that reason, I will no longer be returning.

They were incredibly compassionate, and never made us feel alone in the process of having our beloved dog put to sleep. Everyone was so kind and caring, and they walked us through every step of the way. They let us take as long as we needed, and you could truly tell everyone who works there has a deep love for animals. I couldn't recommend them nearly enough

Friendly staff & very informative. Was communicative & able to help with an issue that arose with my dog quickly & understandably. Will absolutely be back again.

The whole office LOVED our big dog. He's a Kitten in a 145 lb dog body 😂 He ate their snacks...I've never had a dog eat treats at tha Vet before.. I think that means he's comfortable. 💙🐾
