  Read this before getting Banfield plan or taking your pet here. I arrived to my IN ROOM appointment, first I was placed in a room that has BLOOD on the floor, I told them, the moved me to a second room that has a pee pad on the floor, then they moved me to another room that was supposed to be clean however the smell was very very bad like it was not clean the entire day. The vet will do everything on their power to take your pet behind and not see them in the room with you, they look uncomfortable and in a hurry when you ask them to come to the room. I mentioned 3 TIMES to the nurse that we won’t do any vaccines that day because of my dog allergies, when the doctor finally came to the room it’s preparing something and when I ask what are you about to put in my dog? She said the VACCINE. They don’t listen at the owner and they don’t communicate in between them. When I said no for the vaccine the doctor insisted i needed to say no like 3 times. Then she was acting upset and left the room very quick without answering my questions and checked my dog poorly. Banfield lost a Client, I won’t ever be back this is not just 1 time incident, the SAME situation happened to me in sand lake so it’s their behavior. They don’t like animals they just act like robots.

  This is Taco. He has been very well cared for by the team at Banfield Mills since he was just 5lbs. He is now 18lbs. And I feel so grateful I came to Banfield. And I would not take him anywhere else. They are truly caring and loving of every pet. Every pet is special. They are communicative when it comes to options and always recommend what is right for Taco even if it’s a less expensive option. Which tells you they care more about your pets than just taking money. Thank you.

  It’s about time I reviewed this wonderful veterinary office. Dr Jaramillo is an exceptional vet who is compassionate, humorous and reassuring especially to an anxious cat mom like me (once or twice with tears in my eyes with worry). We followed him from another location! Pam, our 5 year old Scottish fold is my world and I am quite vigilant if anything changes with her (often change induced stress) so we visit often. He is always so pragmatic and informative whenever I bring her in. He explains everything well, educated me on the importance of wet food for health later down the line and always provides straightforward solutions. He has a wonderful manner with her even when she’s acting like a wild tiger! We are never upsold on treatments which I appreciate because when you love your baby so much you feel like you need to do everything and cover all bases. The love and care he has for animals is very apparent but he is also very kind to their owners. Dr Pichardo was also wonderful to us when we just got our little pup, Claude and gave him his first exam, explaining everything very well and being very kind and excited for us. We appreciate being a vet is not easy, dealing with sad times often, but everyone here is super professional and cheerful, I admire them a lot. The front desk staff are all lovely and remember us and our pets. It matters a lot, especially when you are anxious about your baby’s health! The wellness plan is great, I’m really glad we feel like we can come in often rather than let something go unchecked. The pet chat feature is really helpful and you’re always talking to a real person on it who is compassionate and kind. We always get a follow up from the pet chat too. Thank you Banfield Mills :)

  I have gone to other Banfield locations, but the staff at Mills Banfield is the best. I take my 3 dogs there. My one dog is very anxious and comes off as aggressive. Most vets want me to drug him before appointments. My dog felt so comfortable with the Mills staff, without any medication. They said he wasn't difficult at all. The staff always keeps me updated on my dog's progress during drop off appointments. The office manager Kim and receptionist Brooks are always knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Monica always gives me a friendly reminder that about my appointments. Dr.Jamarillo gives my pets the best care and provides detailed notes on their visits. I have considered going to other low cost vets, but the convenience and excellence that Banfield Mills offers cannot be beat. I trust them to always do what's best for my pups and to not overbill me. I highly recommend this outstanding veterinarian office.
