Tengan cuidado. / Terrible service. A friend’s kitten was kept inside a carrier for 6 hours without water. She had to call the clinic herself because nobody contacted her, and if she hadn’t called, her baby would have remained there even longer. The clinic claimed that the kitten had bitten the doctor, but that is not a justification. First of all, they should be trained to handle stressed animals properly. Second, do stressed animals not deserve medical care as well? It is important to mention that the “aggressive” animal they described is not the kitten we know. However, we understand that any animal can become stressed in that kind of situation. Our point is that the clinic did not handle the situation professionally. Please be careful.

To whom it may concern, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the treatment of my cat during his recent visit to your facility for veterinary services, specifically deworming and vaccinations. My pet was left confined in a box for approximately six hours without receiving the expected care or being attended to in a timely manner. This situation is unacceptable and raises serious concerns regarding your facility’s operational procedures and duty of care. If your staff were unable or unqualified to complete the requested veterinary services, I should have been contacted immediately so that I could retrieve my pet or make alternative arrangements. At no point was I informed of any delay or inability to proceed with the treatment. Instead, my cat was kept isolated for an extended period without basic needs being addressed. This is not appropriate handling of an animal under professional care and does not align with the standards expected of a veterinary service provider. Additionally, I was informed that the delay was related to concerns about my pet’s compliance and a need to protect staff. If that was the case, the appropriate response would have been to contact me immediately rather than leaving my pet confined for several hours. My cat is not aggressive, and if there were any concerns regarding behavior or handling, I should have been given the opportunity to intervene or take him elsewhere. Regardless of internal staffing or procedural limitations, it is not acceptable for an animal to be left unattended for this length of time without communication to the owner. I am requesting a formal explanation of what occurred, why I was not contacted promptly, and what steps will be taken to ensure this does not happen again. Adding to previous email:The cat was vomiting and had blood in his urine. In the end, after six hours, nothing was done for him.

Just got a puppy and started going there for 6 weeks now. I bought the puppy wellness plan and have been happy so far. All the staff at Banfield have been wonderful. The doctors are very nice as well. Don't have to wait long for your appointment.

This place is becoming ridiculous. I feel that I’m going to a circus with a bunch of clown. They call you to a room with your pet and they let you stay there for like almost 45 minutes. They keep coming back and forth with the sorry , thank you for your patience. I went there today from nine in the morning that I have an appointment. They didn’t see my dog until 11:05 AM. They have 21 dogs to see iwith one Doctor working They coming to the room and tell me they’re coming right back and they let me waiting again 15 to 25 minutes in the room again. It was horrible day from all the times that I go. My dog was so overwhelming, tired, hungry shaking. I ended up walking out 😡😡 horrible they have no consideration for this animals that they come in sick
