Banfield Pet Hospital® offers Deworming. Deworming is the administration of medication to eliminate internal parasites (such as roundworms, tapeworms, and hookworms) from an animal's body.

Gastrointestinal illness diagnosis and treatment

Gastrointestinal illness treatment at Banfield Pet Hospital® starts with identifying the underlying cause – which can range from dietary issues to infections – and then providing appropriate therapy such as diet changes, fluid therapy, or medication.

General dentistry

All Banfield Pet Hospital® locations offer basic dental care for pets. This may include professional cleanings, dental examinations, or oral surgeries to maintain oral health and prevent diseases.

General surgery

Surgery is a broad category in veterinary medicine. At Banfield Pet Hospital ®, surgeries may include routine spaying and neutering to common operations, performed to address health issues or injuries in animals.

Microchipping

At Banfield Pet Hospital®, we provide microchipping for pets. This process involves inserting a chip under the pet's skin, with a unique ID that can help reunite lost pets with their owners.

Parasite control

Parasite treatment at Banfield Pet Hospital® may involve administering medication to eradicate and prevent parasites, such as fleas, ticks, and worms, that infest or infect animals.

Spaying and neutering

At Banfield Pet Hospital®, spaying (for females) and neutering (for males) are surgical procedures performed under anesthesia. These procedures can help prevent unwanted breeding and may reduce the risk of certain cancers and behavioral issues in pets.

Vaccinations

Vaccinations are available at Banfield Pet Hospital®. Administering vaccines is a preventative health care measure that can help protect pets against various diseases, such as rabies, distemper, and parvovirus.

Don't waste your time, after making a reservation online for a first time visit, they informed me they don't have an in room appointment for my dog and I will have to leave him there because the Vet is in surgery, if the vet is not available why there is an option to get an appointment then? they answer with "we don't control our reservation system" this is after making the appointment 3 days in advance and canceling another vet appointment for the same day. I was really looking forward to try this hospital but after this definitely not going back and not recommending this to no one

People really should be trained on phone etiquette. Called Sunday 6/21 at 3:08pm the girl was just assumptive and unsure I called in to ensure the medication I was prescribed for my dog was something she could eat with before her exam in the morning the medicine bottle did not say on it so I called in to be 100000% sure. Thankfully this isn’t our main location but it was the only location near me open on the time I called in on a Sunday.

Dr. George Is by far the best Veterinarian I have ever had. She is always so kind and knowledgeable when we drop off our two fur babies. She answers every question and concern I have and truly wants the best for my pets. I in the past did not have as great of vets at Banfield but, her and the intake techs that are currently at this location are the reason I stayed with Banfield. Thank you for treating my pets with such kindness even when they can be spicy babies.

Extremely disappointing experience. We brought our dog in because she was bleeding in her urine and waited almost four hours for urine test results, only to be told afterward that another sample would need to be collected directly from her bladder. If the initial sample was never going to provide a definitive answer, why were we asked to spend the time and money on it in the first place? Not only did this result in unnecessary costs, but it also delayed getting answers for a potentially serious medical issue. When a pet owner is worried about their animal’s health, better communication, transparency, and respect for their time are expected.

This Banfield has been our vet for over two years now. Excellent care every time. Super grateful for Dr. George and Maddie who have cared for our boys all this time with such love, as well as Dr. Copeland who helped our old boy cross the rainbow bridge with so much care last year. We got the sweetest card signed by everyone in the office after our loss. Will always appreciate this care team!
