Gastrointestinal illness diagnosis and treatment
Gastrointestinal illness treatment at Banfield Pet Hospital® starts with identifying the underlying cause – which can range from dietary issues to infections – and then providing appropriate therapy such as diet changes, fluid therapy, or medication.
General dentistry
All Banfield Pet Hospital® locations offer basic dental care for pets. This may include professional cleanings, dental examinations, or oral surgeries to maintain oral health and prevent diseases.
General surgery
Surgery is a broad category in veterinary medicine. At Banfield Pet Hospital ®, surgeries may include routine spaying and neutering to common operations, performed to address health issues or injuries in animals.
Microchipping
At Banfield Pet Hospital®, we provide microchipping for pets. This process involves inserting a chip under the pet's skin, with a unique ID that can help reunite lost pets with their owners.
Parasite control
Parasite treatment at Banfield Pet Hospital® may involve administering medication to eradicate and prevent parasites, such as fleas, ticks, and worms, that infest or infect animals.
Spaying and neutering
At Banfield Pet Hospital®, spaying (for females) and neutering (for males) are surgical procedures performed under anesthesia. These procedures can help prevent unwanted breeding and may reduce the risk of certain cancers and behavioral issues in pets.
Vaccinations
Vaccinations are available at Banfield Pet Hospital®. Administering vaccines is a preventative health care measure that can help protect pets against various diseases, such as rabies, distemper, and parvovirus.

Go customer service no longer exists at this location. Very disappointing. When I arrived to check in the girl at the counter told me to go sit down and she would text me a link to check in. They came out got my dog and went to the back foe his wellness check. Before they brought the dog back the girl called me over to the counter and said they would need to do a follow-up in a month. I asked why and she said one of his test came back bad. I asked which one, she said what it was and I asked what is that? She said gosh I dont really know i get confused. Ok then. A tech brought my dog out, she at least knew what was wrong. But never saw a vet. Was never put in a room. Everything done in the lobby.

In all the years of going to this place with two different dogs, I never had one reason to complain until today. The sad part is, I know no one there really cares or will do anything about it. When you call and ask for an appointment for your dogs's check up and shots with a specific doctor, you better ask what kind of appointment they are scheduling because you could be told it will be several hours so you have to leave your dog and come back. If I drive an hour to get there, I am not interested in lingering around for several hours especially if I had a specific appointment time. I also really miss Dr. Jerome Vickers! Big mistake letting him go to another practice down the street at Fox Creek Animal Hospital. I was also told today if I wanted to leave to go there it was my decision. Great job on knowing how to handle customer retention.

I have had the best experience with this Banfield. Dr. Jack has been amazing. He helped me with my two small shitzhus. I was really worried about my 14 year old shitzhu but dr jack helped me so much. He even talked to me multiple times at home to check on us. I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else now. Everyone on staff are amazing!

They are always good with my dogs but it seems to be that it's becoming less personalized and more about the quickest they can get animals in and out
Frequently Asked Questions About Banfield Pet Hospital
Does Banfield provide emergency care services?
No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
Can I get veterinary care online?
To help pets and their people stay healthy, Banfield clients who have Optimum Wellness Plans® can get remote general pet care advice and triage support directly from a veterinarian 24/7 through Vet Chat™ on the Banfield app.
What preventive pet health care services does Banfield offer?
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including:
• Vaccinations
• Dental Care
• Parasite Control

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
