We've been Banfield clients for a long time! We've always loved our Banfield vets. Now that Mars has taken hold of this chain, we are not so sure. The office always seems hectic, and the vets are over-booked, so we don't feel as comfortable as we once did. We're still taking a wait and see attitude with this now CORPORATE operation before we make a change. Our long-time vets have our trust--at least for now.

Got an appointment same day! I was sleep deprived and stressed from my dog being sick all night so I’m sure I came across with attitude and they were still so kind and patient. When I got home he looked like he was getting worst (not cause of them) so they let us come right back in for an X-ray that I had originally declined. So thankful for their kindness and patience and love for my dog. One of the best vets I’ve ever been to.

I’m extremely disappointed with recent experiences at Banfield Pet Clinic, specifically with Dr. Brandon Butler. My friend brought her cat in twice and still left without any real answers or resolution to the issue. On the most recent visit, Dr. Butler didn’t even come in to examine her cat, which felt incredibly dismissive and unprofessional.
After spending both time and money with no progress, she had to go to a different veterinarian to finally get proper care and treatment. It’s frustrating and upsetting to feel like the clinic is more focused on collecting payment than actually helping animals and supporting their owners.
Pets are family, and they deserve attentive, compassionate care. Hardworking people shouldn’t have to pay repeatedly without seeing any effort or results. This experience felt unfair, inhumane, and not what I expected from a veterinary clinic.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
