  This place is horrible. I call in to schedule an appointment for my dog that has cancer. And first thing they are saying before even asking me about anything is we charge $70 dollar deposit for appointments the lady said on the phone. I asked why she says you can go somewhere else if you don’t want to pay it! Clearly shows they don’t even care about your animal. More worried about a $70 non refundable deposit than checking and seeing what is wrong with your dog! So I called a different clinic they were amazing on the phone no deposit required. And the difference in tone of voice on the phone you can tell they care about doing their job right and your animal. Island animal hospital in Venice is where I would go if you are in this area!

  I moved my pets to a different clinic because I felt this one had become too focused on extra charges. In addition to paying for office visits and heartworm testing, I was charged a fee just to receive a written prescription, including for heartworm medication. The clinic only provided a paper prescription that I had to mail to the pharmacy myself, which felt outdated and inconvenient. I have since found a better clinic that does not charge extra for prescriptions and sends them directly to the pharmacy of my choice. The overall process is much more convenient and customer-friendly.

  Always pleasant, very caring, even called 2 days later to check up on my dog. Best vet around..

  I recently moved to North Port and had been on the fence about switching vets, as I’d been driving all the way back to Tampa to see our old one for the last two years. My American Bully, Benny, is turning 5 this year, so finding a local team I can trust was a huge priority. I’m so glad I found Toledo Blade Animal Clinic. The experience from start to finish was amazing. Dr. Lauren and her assistant, Bethany, were both incredible with Benny. They were extremely knowledgeable and took the time to actually listen and give me detailed information based on all the specific questions I had. It’s rare to find a place where the service is top-tier, the staff is genuinely helpful, and the pricing is actually fair. If you’re looking for a vet in the area, I can’t recommend them enough. Dr. Lauren and Bethany made the transition to a new local vet easy and stress-free

  Very good place . Loved the Vet, he was awesome and had a sense of humor. Everyone was good at what they do. And I will let people know more when I go back for for my grand fur babies de-bslling! Ugh! Ouch!!! He was getting checked for surgery in few days... It went perfect!!!! We won't have babies even though they're so dang cute! 100,000 killed everyday!! Sickly sad! God bless all animals euthanized because us human don't think sometimes and (they) Dogs cats puppies kittens ALL OUR FAULT, IM SO SORRY. But this place ROCKS!
