That is exactly how I feel when I think about Dr. Harvey and the incredible care he has given to my two potbelly pigs, Penelope and Peppa. Finding a veterinarian who is not only willing but eager to care for two 200‑pound pigs is rare. Finding one who does it with compassion, patience, and unwavering dedication is something extraordinary. A few days ago, Penelope—my sweet, gentle girl who never complains, became suddenly ill. She wasn’t herself, and I knew immediately that something was very wrong. Dr. Harvey arrived with calmness, confidence, and genuine concern. He examined her thoroughly, explained everything with clarity and kindness, and treated her with the same tenderness you would give to a beloved family member. He provided the medication and care she needed, and because of him, Penelope has been feeling so much better. Watching her return to her bright, happy self has been one of the greatest reliefs of my life, and it is because of Dr. Harvey. Caring for pigs is not easy. They are intelligent, emotional, sensitive animals, and transporting two 200‑pound pigs is nearly impossible. Yet Dr. Harvey has never hesitated. He has always been willing to come out, to help, to treat them with respect and gentleness, and to give them the same level of care he would give any other animal. Dr. Harvey is thorough. He is thoughtful. He is patient. And he is incredibly skilled. He understands farm animals in a way that brings comfort and confidence the moment he arrives. He has a gift—not just for veterinary medicine, but for connection, for compassion, for truly seeing the animals he cares for. There is no doubt in my mind: he is one of the best farm‑animal veterinarians in town. Dr. Harvey, if you ever read this, I hope you understand the depth of my gratitude. You have given Penelope and Peppa comfort, healing, and safety. You have given me peace of mind in moments of fear. You have gone out of your way time and time again, and I will never forget it. Thank you for being the kind of veterinarian who truly makes a difference. Thank you for caring for my girls. Thank you for being someone I can trust with their lives.
