- DRDean Rosser5 days ago1.0Got a call today to inform me they did not approve my dogs eye medication after cataract surgery, she will be on this medication for the rest of her life. Their Fort Myers location has closed, so now their nearest location to me is Naples, which would be about a 250 mile round-trip for just an exam. Gave me no warning they would not renew prescription, knowing she has to have this medication. That was not nice... Have to scramble to find another doctor for prescription.

- HIHilary IgleheartMar 2, 20265.0We have a 13 1/2 year-old Shih Tzu. She has been diabetic for 2 1/2 years and about a year after becoming diabetic went blind. We live in Michigan so I’ve had most of her care in Michigan and at OSU, but she had a lens replacement and then subsequently lost one of her eyes due to infection. The few times we have been in Naples with her we have had to see an eye specialist and found Dr. Overton. Dr. Overton has been amazing to work with. Our poor little dog continues to have corneal dysfunction in her remaining eye but Dr. Overton has helped us very much in managing her eye health. She is thoughtful, kind, and clear with her instructions. She thoroughly considered our dog’s history. I highly recommend her.

I had assumed he had an ulcer from signs we’ve seen before but he just had some inflammatory responses. Dr. Overton was lovely; she was warm, gave her TIME without rushing, EXPLAINED the situation and answered all my questions. She completely exceeded my expectations as I have had ‘ill tempered’ doctor experiences in the past. I would highly recommend this clinic for pets’ eye disorders! Additionally, Mary at the front desk is very aimable. She is always a pleasure to chat with and makes the ‘vet experience’ better.
