    DON'T TAKE YOUR PET! Been a Petco fan since I adopted my dog over 6 years ago. Had him trained, checked out and groomed there for years. This last visit was the last straw - they were unorganized, seemed inexperienced, and after my dog was bit by another dog in the face, no one did anything, even after i let them know. And on top of that they did not know how to line everyone up, the aisles where they put us were dirty, and i had to keep my dog from licking everything on the floor - i had an appointment, and still had to wait over an hour. This was a terrible experience and the fact no one did anything about my dog getting bit - really took it over the edge - I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

    The techs at Vetco Vaccination Center were knowledgeable...polite.. caring and loved my kitten. One of the techs received little kitty kisses because my kitten felt safe with her.

    I got a NON-COMPLIANCE VIOLATION NOTICE because the clinic didn’t register my pet’s tag or vaccine with the county. I just had to go through a hearing to prove that I vaccinated my pet on time. The Hearing Officer even advised me to avoid this clinic because they’ve had a lot of cases where pet owners ended up in similar situations due to the clinic not properly registering licenses. Save yourself the headache—this legal hassle was completely unnecessary, especially since I did everything right, but the clinic didn’t handle their end properly.

    Although the technicians were great with my dog, this process is very unorganized. Petco would benefit from making this a comfortable experience for the pets and their owners. Perhaps giving some thought to the Petsmart model, which has private rooms where owners can wait with their pets. Standing around for 30 minutes while other customers keep walking by and making dogs more anxious as they get their vaccinations is not a good experience.
