First and foremost, Dr. Hecker is THE BOMB! She is absolutely amazing, and we genuinely appreciate the care, attention, and dedication she provides to our dogs. She deserves every bit of recognition for the incredible veterinarian she is. Thank you for always caring to the MOON for Brodi & Xena.
Unfortunately, I wish I could say the same about the organization, communication, and overall efficiency of the front desk.
We’ve been clients at this location for over six years, and throughout that time, I’ve noticed recurring inconsistencies and inefficiencies in how requests and communication are handled. The immediate response often seems to be putting clients on hold rather than effectively prioritizing, organizing, and following through on requests.
Our most recent experience is a perfect example. We’ve been waiting over a week for our dog’s cytology report. When we called to follow up, we learned that the office had already received the results. We were told the report would be emailed to us “right now.” Thirty minutes later, nothing had arrived. When we called again, we were told we’d have to wait even longer because the office was busy. Awesome! We love to hear that 👍🏽
I completely understand that veterinary offices get busy. However, when someone tells you they’ll send something right away, that creates an expectation. If it can’t be done immediately, don’t promise that it will.
Being busy and being inefficient are two different things. After more than six years of experiencing similar inconsistencies, I genuinely feel there is room for improvement in how the front desk manages its workflow, prioritizes requests, and follows through with clients.
We have always made an effort to be kind, patient, and respectful. We aren’t expecting special treatment or for anyone to drop what they’re doing. We’re simply expecting reasonable communication, accountability, and follow-through.
As pet owners, especially when our animals are actively undergoing treatment, timely access to medical information is important and valuable. We shouldn’t have to make repeated phone calls just to receive something that has already been promised.
Again, Dr. Hecker is phenomenal, and our appreciation for her veterinary care hasn’t changed. We love her from the bottom of our hearts. My hope is that the administrative side of the practice can improve to reflect the same high standard of professionalism and care that she consistently provides. I come from a very disciplined and structured background, where accountability, professionalism, and integrity have always been emphasized. I apologize if that means I hold the front desk to a higher standard, but I was always taught that your word is your bond. If you tell someone you’re going to do something, you follow through. We hope you understand, we simply wanted to know if our dog had cancer or not. God bless.

I have been coming to this location since it first opened. My dog and I have seen many vets and staff come and go. But Dr. Hecker and the current staff at this location have been outstanding! My dog got diagnosed wit diabetes a few years back and while managing it at first was very difficult and tricky Dr. Hecker was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout this time. She would always take time to check in and see how Jeffrey is doing, she would even contact us on her days off if she saw something off with his diabetes censor, she would recommend an internal medicine doctor when we needed second opinions. Now the staff has been equally as amazing as Dr. Hecker, every time Jeffrey has to go to the clinic the staff light up and treat him like a spoiled little boy that he is. You can tell that both the staff and doctors in this location really do care not only for Jeffrey but for all their patients. I honestly can’t give enough praise to Dr. Hecker and her team! Keep up the great work and care you all provide because it really doesn’t go unnoticed.

I came in with my mom for my new puppy’s first visit, and honestly, we didn’t know much about the wellness packages. We were originally just planning to get her booster shots, but we left feeling so much more informed and confident after signing up for the puppy plan with the spay and with Simpatico trio. the nurse bri , was incredibly patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. She took the time to sit down with us and explain everything on the wellness plan because I wasn’t sure what half of it was for. She also educated us about heartworm, fleas, and ticks. I had no idea heartworm was even a thing, and knowing that now could potentially protect my puppy from serious health issues in the future. I also had so many questions about diet, how much to feed my puppy, when to increase her food, and what diet would be best. Both Bri and Dr. Hecker were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and happy to answer every question without making us feel rushed. We are so happy we chose this hospital, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for great veterinary care. I especially recommend Dr. Hecker and Bri. Thank you both for making our first puppy visit such a wonderful experience!
