- AAAri4 days ago2.0I’ve been bringing my dog(s) here for several years and Dr. Estevez is very good. She seems to genuinely care for animals. However, the customer service has SEVERELY declined. The receptionist (Mary) is unprofessional, seems distracted almost? And everything takes FOREVER. I understand there are circumstances but every time I call, I end up hanging up and having to go in person to resolve my questions. EVERY. TIME. I’m considering just cancelling my wellness plan for both of my dogs and finding an alternative elsewhere. This is beginning to not be worth it. Between the expenses and the horrible customer service, I’ve had enough.

My dog came in for 2 vaccines and staff was incredibly patient with him when he wouldn't cooperate. I cannot thank the Dadeland Banfield team enough for their amazing customer service, especially Cici at the Front Desk, Lindsey the Nurse, and Dr. Estevez the vet. Before I left, I was given a goodie bag for both me, and my dog Bruce🧡🧡

I'm moving to China and needed to prepare my dog Lele for international travel — a process with a lot of moving parts (vaccines, titer testing, health certificates, timing). Lindsey guided me through all of it with incredible patience and care. She answered every one of my (many) questions in detail, replied to emails almost instantly, and proactively reached out to Dr. Estevez to confirm we could adjust the rabies vaccine schedule — which ended up saving Lele from a 30-day quarantine. She even recommended a recovery suit to keep Lele comfortable after surgery. The doctors, including Dr. Vega Rigau, and the whole team were professional, kind, and genuinely invested. I'm so grateful. Highly, highly recommend!
- MMMartin MorinJul 8, 20261.0Not a good experience at all. The wait to pick up your pet is longer than what it should be even when you show up and there is no one waiting in the reception area. Never went over my pets visit I was only emailed the summary and nothing else. Will be canceling my pets wellness plan and going back to the a traditional local vets office.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
