  I came here for simple vaccines for my new puppy and it was the most unprofessional + disorganized vet experience I’ve ever had in my life. The front desk clerk Mary was beyond rude, disrespectful, and distracted, so much so that I left because i didn’t feel comfortable leaving my doggy there. Take your pets elsewhere.

  HORRIBLE!!!!! I have a complaint to make, and I am extremely disappointed with Banfield-Dadeland. I had an appointment today, but due to traffic, I arrived 12 minutes late. The receptionist—a blonde woman with green eyes (I’ve forgotten her name)—was, as always, incredibly rude and refused to speak with the doctor. After I insisted repeatedly, she finally went into the back room; when she returned, she claimed the doctor wouldn't see me because they were already closing—despite having spent a considerable amount of time back there. I insisted once again, as I needed to at least get a question answered by the doctor or an assistant. Acting completely dismissive, she called over an assistant named Pilar, who came out to speak with me. I explained the entire situation, yet even after hearing what I had to say, the assistant refused to see my dog, claiming that the doctor was currently handling an emergency. That may well be true, but there were two doctors and five assistants on duty that afternoon, and absolutely NO ONE could help me. I left the clinic with my dog ​​still suffering from ear pain, despite having practically begged for assistance. This is not the first time I have experienced such a lack of care at this particular location. There is always some kind of issue—especially involving that receptionist, who treats us as if we are doing *them* a favor by being there. I always arrive on time, yet I am never seen punctually; the last time I visited, I sat waiting in the exam room for 45 minutes before anyone attended to me. And today—all because of a 12-minute delay—I walked out without receiving any assistance whatsoever, leaving my dog ​​in pain. We pay a premium for pet insurance, only to receive the bare minimum from the staff working there—people who, in my opinion (after so many frustrating experiences), are there solely for the paycheck, not out of any genuine love for animals.
