  They don’t know how to offer a good service, we took out poodle with perfect condition long hair, show them pictures of what we expected ( poodle cut of course ) and they basically shaved her off, they even cut her head so low that her ears look bigger and the head completely flat. First and last time taking our dog here. A total waste of time and money. We shower her every 15 days, brush her constantly and take care of her very well, and this was absolutely disappointing, with no proper experience I could give her a better hair cut at home, and they didn’t even cut her nails.

  ⭐ 1/5 Petco won’t groom our dog if she takes her prescribed stress medication, but they also won’t groom her without it because she’s “too stressed.” That’s the impossible situation their policy put us in. We showed up for our appointment and were turned away because our dog had taken prescription medication for grooming-related stress. This policy was never disclosed up front anywhere during the booking process. We asked to reschedule for the next day and were told there was zero availability. Two minutes later, we checked online from our car and saw a 9:00 AM appointment available. We walked back inside to book it, were told that time wasn’t actually available, but suddenly a later appointment was. The conflicting information about availability was bizarre. We returned the next day and, as instructed, did not give our dog her stress medication. They then canceled the grooming because she was too stressed to be groomed. So we were denied once because she took medication to control her stress, and denied again because, without that medication, she was too stressed. I understand having safety policies, but if you’re going to have a policy like this, disclose it upfront and have a reasonable plan for dogs with grooming anxiety. Instead, we wasted two trips following their instructions only to end up exactly where we started. If your dog has any grooming-related anxiety, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else.

  I made the appointment online at the Viera location. Did pre-check online as well and was repeatedly advised to bring vaccine records. Showed up for appointment and they refused to provide grooming services because the records didn’t show the expiration date for vaccines. They could not update that information at a later time. If that was so important and vital, why not ask prior to the appointment. Terrible online system. Terrible customer service. Waste of time and gas. Never again Petco. I should add that of the ten reviews that I’ve done in the last six or seven years, this is my first negative review.

  Food is so poorly stored that bugs, larvae, spider webs, maggots get into the food that you feed your dogs😄 Yay
