I made an appointment online at 11:15, the dude at the front desk must of thought I was another ethnicity when I came in cause he had a funny look on his face. So I said I have an appointment he said what time I told him he said oh I don’t see it , I said why would I drive all the way here if I didn’t have an appointment. So he says oh well there is no appointments cause the doctor is in surgery. So I asked all day he said no until 12 , so I’m like ok, he says there are appointments after 12 but we don’t have anything until tomorrow. I just walked out because why have appointments online and tell me we complained to corporate about having open appointments that are available. Idk I just don’t like his vibe I will be contacting corporate.

This was our first time here. Brought my 8 year old dog in for a limp. Staff and Dr. were kind and thorough about our options.

Our first visit was great!, they help me get the best fit for a medical plan for Miss Piglet. Plans cover unlimited visits to the vet, and different coverage depending on your needs. Miss Piglet got a full check up with blood work and more. The whole package gives peace of mind for my pet, she is a member of the family, so it's important she gets the best care! Clinic is clean, easy appointment online, no long wait when arrived. They have available Vets 24/7 for video calls, also Banfield is open 7 days a week!!

I have had a wellness plan with Banfield for years. When my baby girl died suddenly in her sleep, the clinic sent me a lovely card from all the great folks who had cared for her over my three years in Florida. I just adopted a sweet Staffy and he is on a Banfield plan.

This is the worst vet ever my dog had a big red tumor that popped out of her stomach that was bleeding. It looked like a giant blood blister when I brought her in all they did was tell me they need to operate to get a sample they wouldn’t tell me it looked like anything specific potentially cancer. Nothing like that two weeks later after I brought her in to see them she started urinating blood. I called them to see if I could bring a sample of the blood because it’s a 40 minute drive from my house. I thought maybe it could potentially be a urinary tract infection which would be an easy fix. They told me to bring the sample which I did and then when they saw it, they told me they wouldn’t run the culture and I had to bring her in. Because the sample had blood in it, which is exactly what I told them on the phone. My dog is nine years old. She hates driving in the car If she does have cancer, I’m not even sure she would survive the stress of the trip. They could’ve easily run the culture I was willing to pay for it
Frequently Asked Questions About Banfield Pet Hospital
Does Banfield provide emergency care services?
No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
Can I get veterinary care online?
To help pets and their people stay healthy, Banfield clients who have Optimum Wellness Plans® can get remote general pet care advice and triage support directly from a veterinarian 24/7 through Pet Chat™ on the Banfield app.
What preventive pet health care services does Banfield offer?
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including:
• Vaccinations
• Dental Care
• Parasite Control
• Nutritional Counseling
• Behavioral Counseling
• Comprehensive Examinations
What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
