  Rating not as high as may be possible, based on individual observations and experience. We made reservations for our 2 cats. Later decided to stop in and request a tour. There were several dogs of various sizes. A large play area. The cat boarding was a disappointment. They are kept in metal wire cages. Too small for two cats to be together. Our cats must be kept together. The staff could not confirm whether they would be let out for exercise. It appeared that cat boarding is an afterthought and not truly thought out. Too bad because they have plenty of room available. A cat section, properly designed and prepared would have made a big difference for us. We canceled and went back to a previous boarding house. I have seen post from them stating they had upgraded their boarding facility. My thought is they are primarily dog friendly and cats are really an afterthought. I say check them out with a tour to satisfy your concerns.

  This review is long overdue!! I took my dog, Daisy to Das Hund Haus for approx a year between 2020-2021 while living in Lakeland. Backstory: I had been taking Daisy to my vet’s doggy daycare, but one day noticed Daisy had several deep scratches on her belly-so deep they had bled. After that, Daisy, who was normally a happy-go-lucky 1yr old pup at the time, friendly with other dogs and people, had become aggressive. I tried taking her to other doggy daycares, but would get called to pick her up because she was growling at others. After doing some research, I found DHH, and boy am I glad I did!!! Jill, the owner, knows what she’s doing, and she knows the temperament of hounds. Daisy took right to her. Jill kept her upfront where she had a couple of other, very mild manner dogs, and was able to turn Daisy around. I don’t know what she did, but she worked her magic and Daisy loved going there, and she loved Jill!! I could’ve just opened the car door and she would’ve run right to the door and right to Jill! I can’t thank them enough for doing what they did with Daisy. We ended up moving and that was a sad day when we left on Daisy‘s last day of daycare. Don’t hesitate to bring your dog to DHH, they are wonderful and they will take tremendous care of your fur baby. Thank you, DHH, and sorry it took me so long to leave you a review! I hope you remember us; we miss you!

  Im new to the area and have been looking for a groomer for my dog Turbo. I came across Das Hund Haus on google and I’m incredibly happy i did. Turbos cut looks exactly how i wanted it to, I’m extremely satisfied with the results! Logan took wonderful care of him and we will definitely be back

  Extremely nice and helpful. My usually anxious dogs were very calm because the people were so calm and treated them so well.

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Das Hund Haus Inc.! Our dog stays there all the time. Just this month he stayed there for 18 days, and as an extremely anxiety-ridden dog, we are always nervous about leaving him but not at Das Hund Haus. From the moment he arrives, the staff treated him like an absolute VIP. This most recent stay they went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable, even allowing him to stay up front during the day in his cage where he felt safe and secure. They gave him his favorite toys, played ball with him, and if you ask they will send you pictures and videos- which gives us so much peace of mind. He gets groomed the morning we pick him up too which is a bonus! Jill Wallace,the owner, is truly one of the most knowledgeable and passionate people I have ever met when it comes to dogs. She has trained all of our dogs, and her love and care for every single dog that comes through her doors is obvious. She genuinely treats them like family. Finding a place you can fully trust with your dog is rare, and I have never been happier with a boarding, training, and grooming facility than I am with Das Hund Haus. Highly, highly recommend!
