  Very friend and very attentive. Im glad I came back with my new baby after being away for a few years. I wouldn't want to go anywhere for Mackenzies needs and she was very happy here.

  The techs were very sweet but they had taken my 5month old puppy’s blood for no reason.they said it was for a heartworm test and that she was due for one but I had over heard comments in the back like “why was this blood drawn?” And the confusion on wich dog the blood was even from. Dr Merkle then entered the room I was in at the time to examine my pup. She exclaimed to me that she will not need any testing till she is older. As I formally knew from her previous appointments she was up to date on everything and even after exclaiming my confusion with why she needed the test anyways I was just told she was due for it and I put my trust in these women to know what they are doing but then to find out again. The blood was drawn for no reason at all. My puppy is a catahoula leopard and again 5 months old and still training. Very high energy dog but very sweet. My puppy was playfully jumping and licking dr merkle yet I was still holding her back as I wouldn’t want her accidentally scratching anyone out of excitement and as puppy’s do us their teeth to explore she was (non aggressively) using her mouth and attempting to lick and grab her leash and play with the doctor. The doctor made a comment to me that I took offense to.she said “maybe your mother will get a hold of you one of these days” I took that comment as a rude shot at me. And it was not appreciated along with my PUPPY trying to play with her she put her thumb in her mouth on her bottle JAW and held it there as my puppy cried she looked at me and said “this is what u do “ after she cried as I was about o ask her to stop she removed her hand and my puppy seemed very surprised and a bit scared in a way. I am not a confrontational person but I did not take this visit lightly. As a former pet care assistant i have never seen someone speak to a client with such sarcasm and rudeness as the doctor did in my opinion. Along with having my puppy cry with her holding her jaw. I care for my animals as they are my babies and it did not sit right with me at all. I will be switching locations as i am on a plan but since my puppy will be getting spayed i have lost trust in this clinic and will not be moving further with their services at this location any longer not only because of my encounter but my appointment was supposed to be a quick exam weighing my puppy and getting her preventative, i was there for a little over an hour and most of it was waiting.

  When I used to do this with the clinic, they injured my dog’s thigh and got a major infection then they claimed that I needed to pay $3000 for a surgery and then they had to do surgery on my dog and They caused unacceptable pain to my dog for no reason do not recommend
