My wife brought our cats here for treatment of ring worm. They advised they would treat all our animals for ring worm and provided medication. A few weeks later my wife brought a stool sample as requested to make sure the animals were successfully treated. She brought a sample from each of 3 pets to check. They charged my wife an extra $132 to check and refused to check our dog’s sample. There was no agreement for extra cost to see if the cats were successfully treated. We will bring our pets elsewhere. They don’t actually care about animals. They will just nickel and dime. I tried to call and resolve this however they just put me on hold. Unfortunately I couldn’t wait all day on hold listening to their prompt.

We would like to thank Dr. Hoblick for her outstanding kindness and compassion in caring for Pam last weekend. She presented with blood in her urine which had me up the walls with worry…we managed to get a last minute appt here, as our usual Banfield was booked up. Dr. Hoblick and her vet technician were so knowledgeable and had the kindest bedside manner. Both Pam and I were visibly distressed (although one of us was expressing that by lashing out :p ) the management of her anxiety and subsequent examination was great and our minds were put at ease that this was stress cystitis due to our new puppy and me being away for work. The prescribed meds and instructions on how to calm Pam have helped and she’s doing much better. We truly appreciate how professional, thorough, kind and caring Dr Hoblick was in a time of great distress. She even just called me now to check in on Pam and discuss the X-rays which I thought was really thoughtful and lovely. It’s nice to know how much Banfield vets care <3 thank you!

this is my first time trying a location in a PetSmart since moving to Longwood and let me say I’ve been very disappointed. I’m gonna stick to standalone Banfields from now on. I made an appointment for my cat for a dental cleaning & general wellness check up so I had to drop him off at 7:30 in the morning. I dropped him off early at 7:15 AM and when I was five minutes away from the veterinary clinic, they call me back to come back and help them weigh him. I do so, and I also offer that if they can’t get him sedated or need more help with him that I can stick around and help them. The assistant with very short black hair Said that she would know if she needs help sedating him within 20 or 30 minutes. I stuck around in the parking lot in my car for 15 minutes. Didn’t receive any call or anything so I went back home. At 12:30 I missed a call which I wasn’t able to respond to until about 2:30 PM. When I call back, they notified me that they’ve had my cat all day and haven’t done anything with him, so basically he’s just been sitting in the facility, in a fear and anxiety inducing environment. Instead of calling me earlier, they chose to wait five hours after figuring out they couldn’t sedate him, letting him be unnecessarily anxious. I go to the facility to pick up my cat, where some vet tech named kit tries to make it seem like it was ok that there was a five hour lapse in figuring out he couldn’t be serviced and calling me. She then proceeds to try to have a staring contest with me when i’m not accepting that as an answer… because you do NOT have that many animals to prevent ONE of you from LEAVING the room and telling the receptionist to call me to pick my cat up in FIVE HOURS. She kept trying to make excuses as to why i wasn’t called earlier than 12, ignoring the fact that the nurse/helper told me specifically 20/30 mins they’ll know if he can be sedated, and acting like the team did nothing wrong. She then tell me that every time someone walked by my cat he was lunging and hissing, which AGAIN was MULTIPLE opportunities to see that he wasn’t gonna be able to get serviced today and to have somebody tell the receptionist to call me before the five hour mark of him being there not doing anything. I still don’t know if my point got across to her, because if the team doesn’t have AN OUNCE of brain to have the common sense to HAVE ANYONE tell the receptionist to call me to pick him up ASAP i highly doubt they even understood why they were wrong.
