  The manager of this location Joe is rude and very condescending. His expectations were that customers should arrive to the store with the knowledge of how to care for what we were purchasing fish. As I explained to him a person who is not familiar with the care it should be his job educate and give information so the buyer can make a sound decision. Why sell me fish that would die and not explain the process. Customer service should NOT be his profession. Very rude and unkind, and unprofessional. If this is who you have representing your store, you are in trouble. Smh do better.

  Worst place ever!!! I took my dog to Petco for a grooming appointment TWO TIMES, but they refused to groom him because they claimed the knots on his ears might be hematomas and told me to see a veterinarian. I then took him to PetSmart with the exact same condition, and they accepted him immediately without any concerns. The knots were simply matted hair, not hematomas. It was frustrating to waste my time and be advised to spend unnecessary money based on an incorrect assumption. Petco should ensure its grooming staff is better trained before turning customers away (especially the woman at the front desk in customer service)

  My Experience Purchasing a Budgie Dear Petco Customer Service, I would like to file a complaint regarding my recent experience at one of your stores while attempting to purchase a budgie. I fully support Petco’s commitment to animal welfare and understand the importance of ensuring pets are going to appropriate homes. However, I was disappointed with how I was treated during my visit. I explained to the employee that I already had a suitable cage at home and even showed them a photo of it. Despite this, I was repeatedly told that I needed to purchase a larger cage from the store before they would sell me the bird. I felt pressured to buy a product that I did not need. After continuing the conversation, the employee eventually sold me the budgie without requiring me to purchase the cage. This left me confused because it suggested that my existing cage was acceptable after all. As a customer, I believe recommendations for proper housing are appropriate, but I do not believe customers should feel pressured or led to believe they must purchase additional products in order to complete a pet purchase when they already have suitable equipment. I hope Petco will review this incident and provide additional guidance to store employees so future customers are treated respectfully and consistently. Thank you for your time and attention.   Store is clean and employees are helpful. But every week when I come they never have crickets for my bearded dragon. I'm told to only come on specific days. I work two jobs and can only come when I can. How about order more since they sell out quick? Its a waste of my time and very frustrating.
