Terrible experience. I had an appointment for Thursday 11:30 AM to drop off my cat. They called me at 7:00 AM, Thursday (day of appointment) asking me to drop him off as soon as possible since the doctor “takes drop-offs at 7:45AM”. No idea why I was able to even make an appointment if they couldn’t do it in the first place. Anyways, I brought my cat in at around 9:20 AM. They asked questions about what was going on, I filled them in and told them I just wanted an exam done. Left the office at around 10:00 AM, leaving my cat there. I came back to the office at 3:15 PM, 6 hours from when I originally got there. 6 hours, no updates, no calls, no information whatsoever from these “doctors”. I had to wait an additional 30 mins in the waiting area because my cat wasn’t ready for pickup. All of this, just for them to tell me that they couldn’t perform the exam because my cat wasn’t cooperative, hissing, scratching, etc. 6 hours, an entire day, with no one calling me to inform me of anything, just for them to do NOTHING with my animal. I was worried sick and no one showed not even an ounce of consideration. Please, save yourself the time. I would never bring any of my animals here and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

i do not recommend this place; ive been to different locations and they work all the same. appt wise, yes they have availability, if you do in-room, be ready to wait at least 2 hrs, if you're drop off, be ready to wait ore than 5 hrs.
i dropped off my dog at 1:15pm, I got my dog at 615pm. they returned my dog, the tech said i''ll be right back, and didnt show her face for 20 mins, I left. very disrespectful. a lot of people waiting in the office rescheduled. They say they are very busy and they had an emergency, but I think thats just what they say for people to "understand", but like I said, ive been to different locations and its all the same. Waiting for my petwellness contract to end and Im out. Very unproffessional. please dont waste your time or money

Unfortunate experience. I had an appointment for 5PM and arrived at exactly 5PM.
They called 3 times prior to confirm the appointment and 1 text.
When we arrived, the woman at the reception was surprised to see us. She told us that we did not have an appointment. That the appointment was changed to 7am that same day.
After showing her our confirmations(3 phone calls, 1 text), they took our little guy in.
My dog was back there exactly 4 minutes. They accomplished vaccination, removed a flea, and completed assessments within this record time(he went in at 5:09PM…. Look at the paperwork!).
They were so fast they even forgot to take their orange collar back.
My poor dog came out scared and is lethargic.
They did not explain anything that was done, however, the paperwork says they spoke to me 😵💫
She simply pointed me to the register. I asked the cashier as to where the meds were? The cashier said “oh, maybe she went back to get them”.
I felt they wanted to close shop.
Unfortunately I feel the staff did not care for my dog’s well being. Not even the Dr came to say hey.
I should have walked away when they did not want to take him in.
But I chose to stay for his well being.

I used to love taking my dog to the Banfield hospital in MI. This is the closest one to me in Florida and they suck. My old location gave him his dewormer in the office, this one I have to give it to him myself, whats the point of dropping him off if they wont do the full services like administering dewormer? They take forever to have pets be seen and have no regard for the time frame thats put on their intake paperwork. Why would you even ask if you cant honor it? He also always leaves smelling like pee, like he was left standing in his own pee. The other Banfield locations I've taken him to hes never smelled like that. Their level of care is not what I would expect from Banfield at all. Unfortunately I will not be renewing with them. They are to far away. There level of care is not worth the drive or long wait.

Veterinarian Dr. Reno was so compassionate and thorough. He listened, took his time. He checked our baby head to toe, ran tests, listened to what we thought may have caused his illness. Our baby had a jaw injury and parasites, an otherwise simple diagnosis with some tests that was ignored by the Pet Store Vets. Dr. Reno is a great Veterinarian. Our Goldendoodle has been sick for over 2 months, and the Pet Store Vet said he was dying. Dr. Reno from Banfield treated our baby as well as Kamila his nurse l. Kamila so helpful with their wellness plans that are very affordable and necessary. Our baby received the best vet care today at the most responsible price. Saving us hundreds of dollars today. The receptionist Bailie so sweet and kind, Banfield is a wonderful Pet Hospital, our baby,,,"Scooby " after seeing Dr. Reno, Kamila, and Balie just 7 hours ago is finally feeling himself, eating , drinking and bright eyed. Banfield is clean, new, great location with the best Vets, staff and affordable Wellness Plans. ❤️❤️
