We have been taking our cats and bunnies to Aloha since 2022 when we first moved to the area. Honestly, I’ve owed them a review for a long time! We are super pleased to have found a vet that is knowledgeable, caring and nonjudgmental. We appreciate their upfront pricing (they’re not salesy at all, just honest), easy scheduling and clean exam rooms! While all of our encounters with the vet staff have been great, I have to give an extra shoutout to Dr. Dan Pepen. As a backstory we have 7 cats and quite frankly life has been very busy over the past few years and the cats have been stressed. To the point where we’ve been cleaning up multiple cat spray / markings a DAY for years. We’ve had like 6 couches in 2 years, replaced baseboards and flooring. It was awful. We tried every single product, even a kitty Prozac medication they previously prescribed us for our biggest culprit in the house. Nothing was working and then came a flea infestation that turned into one of our cats having a moderate allergic reaction… I was desperate to get everyone healthy again. Of course I felt embarrassed, like a failure and a bad pet parent. Dr. Dan came into the appointment with nothing but compassion for our situation. He took time to learn about our situation, trying to understand why this cat pee problem hasn’t gotten better after meds, pheromone sprays, enzyme cleaners, supplements, more litter boxes, etc. We walked away from the appointment with a game plan, and a backup plan if that didn’t work. He also was thoughtful about the treatment plans — The cat with the flea allergy needed antibiotics and steroids and he recognized that given the number of animals we care for, and having two little kids at home, we may not be able to stick to a multiple day long medication schedule so he opted for one time shots. These are the kinds of things that leave a lasting impression. We are about a month past the appointment and have implemented everything he recommended to essentially make the cats happy again, reduce their boredom and give them more options to decompress. I have officially had two weeks of only cleaning up MAYBE 3 total messes in that time. Compared to before, when I would clean 3 (or more) a day… I could actually cry!! I am so grateful to Dr. Dan. My husband and I both walked away from that appointment with so much gratitude and we were both so impressed by him. Even if what he recommended did not work, we felt confident that we could go back to him and try his backup plan, and he ensured us that he would keep helping until we fixed the problem. I also have to give a shoutout to Dr. Vani who has been amazing to all of our kitties when we’d see her regularly. Always appreciate when a true cat lady is taking care of our cats! Lastly, they opened a second building that is more geared towards cats and it’s so awesome to be able to take the cats to that building where there are rarely any dogs (seems to be small breeds only) and the rooms are decked out for the kitties — scratching mat exam tables, hideaway beds, wall climbing / perches and window bird feeders. Best of all that building doesn’t smell like wet dog lol. Thank you aloha for taking care of all of our babies!

Highly recommended. They have outstanding hours. I wish I had known about them sooner. Our dog had a sudden attack, that left him in a bad way. Saturday night, we went to the Pet ER and after 4 hours they still couldn’t take a look at him. We then made an appointment with Banfield, that was a disaster. Then finally we were told about Aloha. They brought us right in and began care for our baby. They concentrated on stress control for Bailey, and comforting him along with the needed testing. They went through a battery of test to ascertain what happened. Sadly, in the end we had to euthanize our baby. He was an old boy and his condition now too dire to continue. Aloha again stepped up and walked us through the incredibly sad process of letting go. Very kind and compassionate. Each person we spoke with was trained well. We never felt any pressure from them to make a decision. When we recover from our loss and welcome another angel into our home. We will call on Aloha. Bless you all for your kindness for Bailey and ourselves.

The worst vet we’ve ever been to. NEVER GO HERE! Quote didn’t match the price we were invoiced. The quote we signed was over $100 less then what they invoiced us. They also left my cat BLOODY after her bloodwork. They sent my bloodwork with NO RESULTS! They gave my cat sedation medication that I DID NOT AUTHORIZE OR APPROVE!!! I’ve never heard my cat scream at a vet, but by the way the handled her, it made her scream like she was being murdered. I’ve emailed them multiple times to get the quote that I signed with no response. NEVER GO HERE!!!

We recently had to put our family dog of many years down. He was the best dog and it was very hard on us, but Aloha made the process so much easier on us in our time of need. Everyone in the office was so nice and helpful. We decided to cremate him. Well today his remains arrived and I must say im blown away with everything. The wooden box with his ashes is beautiful with a plaque for his name. They made us a plaster paw print and a card with a heart full of his dog hair. Its perfect for remembering him and giving the kids a place to remember him. We are so grateful for Aloha and will forever use them for our animal needs. Thanks again Aloha pet and bird hospital. Thanks for everything you did for Diesel we appreciate it 🙏

Had a great experience taking our German Shepard Harley in for an urgent/emergent vet visit when our typical vet couldn’t get her in. They got her in within the hour for an an appointment diagnosed and a plan together for her and took great care of her during her overnight stay. When picking her up the tech was great at going over her medication instructions and answering all my questions. Definitely will recommend in the future!
