  The doctors and assistants are excellent; however, the reception service is poor: the check-in process took a long time—over 40 minutes—and check-out took more than 30 minutes.

  I am severely disappointed and upset. I’ve been to this location three times in the last month and spent hundreds of dollars on things that could have been fixed in one visit. Yesterday my appointment was at 4:15, I specifically left work early to get there on time. Didn’t even see a nurse until 5:40 and she not friendly at all. Last time I told the vet about my dogs ear being infected and they claimed it would go away on its own. It obviously didn’t and spread to both ears and I spent two hours waiting for the vet to tell me she has an infection now in both ears. Each time I go it gets more expensive and they keep trying to upsell me on something. I told them I am struggling financially and all they had to offer was a “free ear cleaning” the next day as an “apology”. My poor dog and I were sitting in a freezing room for two hours basically forgotten and I was never told the total amount until I got to checkout past closing time and when I was told the amount I was speechless. If the doctor would have taken care of it last time I would have saved myself the extra visit charge, time and energy.

  Absolutely HORRIBLE experience.😡I would never bring my cat back to this Banfield Pet Hospital!!! We dropped off our 6-month-old kitten at 7:00 AM for a spay. She had not eaten since the night before. Around 11:00 AM, the doctor called and said her bloodwork showed anemia, so they could not safely proceed with surgery. We completely understood that and were told they would try to obtain a fecal sample to check for parasites. After that, nobody contacted us. By 3:00 PM, our kitten had been there for eight hours. I called myself and was told they were unable to obtain the fecal sample and had basically only done the bloodwork. No one could clearly explain why she needed to stay there all day after the surgery had already been cancelled. When I picked her up, she was trembling badly, looked terrified and extremely stressed, was damp and dirty, and continued shaking in my arms for about 20 minutes. Her leg had been shaved for a catheter, and afterward she was limping. She is normally very talkative and social, but since coming home she has barely made a sound and is acting completely different. On top of everything, we were charged approximately $240 for the bloodwork alone. I understand that testing has a cost and that finding the anemia was important, but the lack of communication, organization, and compassion throughout this experience was completely unacceptable. I deeply regret bringing her here and would not recommend this location!!!
