Back in 2024, my beloved cat Sammy was sadly and unexpectedly hit by a car and killed. My parents saw his body before I woke and, in a selfless attempt to keep me from seeing him that way, they went home to grab a container to bring him back in. In that short amount of time, another kind neighbor took the time to generously bring his body to this Banfield Pet Hospital. Even though there was nothing they could do for our Sammy as he had already passed, they did everything they could and more for me and my family. Not only did they accept him with grace from our kind neighbor, but they took the time to place him into a clean container, cover him up for privacy, and they even drew his face and name on the box with his notable face markings. Nothing could have prepared me for seeing that sweet drawn face of him on that box, one that I could remember rather than seeing him in a poor condition. Not only does this vet clinic take care of their animals they receive, but they go above and beyond to take care of the animal's owners too. And for anyone reading this from the clinic, I've never had the courage to thank you in person as I fear I'd break down into a puddle of tears. But I pray my words encapsulate how incredible your kindness and grace meant to me and my family during such a sorrowful time, and how much it moved us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. ♡

We stopped going to you guys bc we needed to actually go to a hospital and the bills racked up from your stupid plan and we called and asked if there was any payment plan or discount due to this hard time and nothing could we be done. So it went to collections but my point is you guys wanna email me and text please take me the hell off of evertthing.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
