  I am extremely disappointed with the grooming service my dog Rocky received at this Petco location. His groomer was Liza I paid for a full grooming package $135. that included a bath, haircut, sanitary trim, ear cleaning, nail trimming, paw care, and grooming of the tail and private areas. When I picked him up, it was obvious that his ears had not been cleaned at all. They were still full of black wax and had a strong odor, something that should have been noticed and addressed during the appointment. Rocky only had a few minor mats around his neck, but instead of properly brushing them out or discussing options with me, it appears they simply shaved the area with clippers, leaving an uneven patch. What concerns me the most is what happened after the grooming appointment. Within hours, Rocky developed diarrhea that later became bloody and lasted for about three days. I called the store because I was worried and wanted to know if he had been given anything to eat while he was there. That was when I was informed that he had already experienced diarrhea at the grooming salon. No one mentioned this to me when I picked him up. Whether it was stress-related or not, I believe I should have been notified immediately if my dog had diarrhea while in their care. Rocky is not new to grooming. He is over a year old and has been groomed regularly since he was a puppy, usually every couple of months. This was my first time using this Petco location, and unfortunately it will be my last. The lack of communication, the incomplete grooming services, and the failure to inform me about a health issue that occurred during his visit left me feeling very dissatisfied. I cannot recommend this location based on my experience.
