My dog went for yearly and got her teeth cleaned. They were very professional and explained everything to me that they would be doing.

I’ve been going to Banfield for 5 years, at several Minnesota locations, and I have never had an experience this bad. We recently moved to Florida and brought our pup to this Fort Myers location. Dr. Shewmaker-Cochran did not take the time to review our dog’s visit from the previous week or understand the plan we had already established with our previous vet. Our appointment with her lasted only about 5–10 minutes, with very few questions asked and no real effort to get to know us or our pup. We arrived early for our in-room appointment, but waited 20–30 minutes past our scheduled time before the doctor came in. After she left to get us more information, we waited another 30 minutes before finally going to the front desk because we needed to leave. We were then given the doctor’s treatment plan, which would cost around $1,000 for tests we had previously completed. We only wanted to purchase the medication our pup was already taking, along with a new medication recommended by our previous vet. The doctor never came back out to discuss her plan with us. We were told we could wait another 15 minutes for the doctor to return and teach us how to administer the medication. We declined and made an appointment at the other Fort Myers Banfield instead. I’ve had great experiences with Banfield for years, so this was extremely disappointing. The lack of communication, time management, and personal attention was unacceptable.

Every time i make an appointment for the morning for this place they make me reschedule cause the doctor is in surgery then i show up for my appointment in the afternoon and they make me wait in the lobby while they are all on break hours past lunch time also i don’t like the way they take your animal to the back and you have to listen to them crying while they do whatever it is they are doing. Will never use this company again.
