  I am extremely disappointed with Banfield Pet Hospital. In my experience, the focus seemed to be more on generating repeat visits and additional charges than actually resolving my pet’s health issue. After spending money on exams and treatment, the problem was not properly addressed, and I was left feeling like I was being asked to return repeatedly for the same issue without getting real answers or effective care. As a pet owner, I expect veterinarians to prioritize the health and well-being of animals, not unnecessary follow-up visits and additional expenses. The experience felt unethical and left me with very little confidence in the doctors and staff at this location. I will not be bringing my dogs back to Banfield, and I would not recommend them to other pet owners looking for compassionate, thorough, and trustworthy veterinary care.

  I visited this location and i've had only good experience, the front desk check in was easy and Nico that helped us in room was amazing and a very attentive with my pets needs . Lola loved you! Thank you for being apart of the vets team !!

  What a great experience!!!Nurse Kyle and Dr.Gagnon made me and my dog Johnny Depo feel confident about everything at the visit.I have been to a few vets prior trying to find the one,well thankfully this was it.

  I can’t say enough good things about Banfield Pet Hospital! From the moment we walked in, the service was incredible. The staff is so friendly, warm, and genuinely caring. I want to give a special shout-out to Anna—she goes above and beyond every single time. Her positive energy, dedication, and care for both pets and owners make every visit a joy. If you’re looking for top-tier pet care, this is the place to be!

  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Banfield Pet Hospital in Fort Lauderdale with Dr. Mikael Gagnon. I brought my cat Mila in because she was experiencing diarrhea and GI discomfort, expecting compassionate and transparent veterinary care. Instead, the visit felt more like a sales presentation designed to push expensive wellness plans and unnecessary testing rather than a genuine effort to prioritize my pet’s health. What made me especially uncomfortable was that my cat was taken away for an injection, yet the medication was never administered in front of me or properly shown/explained as I have experienced in other veterinary clinics. In every other professional clinic I’ve visited, treatments and injections are done transparently with the owner present. Here, there was a complete lack of communication and accountability, which left me questioning what was actually done. On top of that, the pressure to upgrade to costly plans and authorize additional exams felt extremely aggressive and profit-driven. I understand that wellness plans and diagnostics exist for a reason, but there is a respectful and ethical way to discuss them with pet owners. This experience felt highly commercialized and emotionally manipulative, especially when someone is already worried about their animal. As a pet owner, I want veterinarians who focus first on trust, transparency, and the wellbeing of animals, not upselling services at every opportunity. Unfortunately, this visit gave me the impression that revenue mattered more than patient care. I will not be returning and would not recommend this location to pet owners seeking compassionate, ethical, and transparent veterinary care.
