I usually take my puppy to Woofgang Bakery for grooming, but since they had no upcoming availability, I decided to try Petco. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The staff members who checked me in and out were not very friendly, and I was not even allowed to see my dog until I had left the grooming area to pay and leave a tip. My puppy has had multiple haircuts and has had his nails clipped and filed with an electric grinder 2–3 times before, and he has never once shown any signs of aggression. I was told that he tried to bite the groomer, which was very surprising to hear. When I explained that this had never happened before and asked for more information about what part of the service triggered this behavior, the staff member became very short with me and cut me off rather than answering my questions. To be fair, the groomer herself was very kind and explained that the sound of the nail file had spooked him. However, the lack of communication and dismissive attitude from the other staff members left me questioning how my dog was being handled when I wasn’t present. His haircut turned out nice, but the service cost twice as much as I have paid at Woofgang Bakery. Between the poor customer service, lack of communication, and concerns about my puppy’s experience, I would not recommend Petco for grooming services.

Jasmine is the BEST! I’ve been a Petco customer for over 10 years. She is the reason I come back. Jasmine is so knowledgeable about all the different pets and all the products in the store. She takes time and answers all my questions. She is always super helpful.

I work over 12 hours some days and can never predict the time I will be leaving work. I went to quickly get dog food a couple mins before closing and couldn’t due to registers being taken out and the workers actively closing the door before closing. Now my puppy won’t have food tonight thanks to you guys. Very disappointed. Will not be going back.
