  My 2 year old dog ended up getting pyometria and needed emergency surgery on 05/14/26 to save her life. I rushed and called dunnellon animal hospital and they told me to bring her in . As soon as I got there they handled my dog with care , urgency and made me feel comfortable knowing that everything will be ok..they treated my dog so great and I will forever be thankful for the doctor who did her surgery and the entire staff team .. she got stitches removed 2 weeks after the surgery and continued to heal perfectly with a smooth incision. Thank you so much dunnellon animal hospital !

  There are not enough words to express how grateful our family is for the incredible care Snoopy received from your team. When we brought Snoopy in, we were terrified. He was very sick, weak, vomiting, suffering from severe diarrhea, and at times unable to walk. We truly did not know if we were going to lose him. The fear, exhaustion, and heartbreak our family felt were overwhelming. From the moment we arrived, every member of your staff treated Snoopy with urgency, compassion, dignity, and love. You didn’t just care for our dog—you cared for our family. You answered our questions, listened to our concerns, comforted us when we were scared, and never made us feel like we were facing this alone. Throughout this difficult experience, we watched your team work tirelessly to help him. The doctors, technicians, and support staff showed an extraordinary level of professionalism, skill, and kindness. It was clear that every person involved genuinely cared about Snoopy’s well-being. Today, seeing Snoopy standing, walking, following us, and even barking again feels like a miracle after where he was. While we know he still has recovery ahead of him, we will never forget that your team gave him a chance when we felt helpless and afraid. As a family of faith, we spent many hours praying over Snoopy and asking God for help. We believe God works through people, and we are deeply thankful for the hands, hearts, knowledge, and dedication He placed in each of you. You were an answer to prayer during one of the most difficult moments our family has faced. Thank you for your compassion. Thank you for your expertise. Thank you for your patience.   Excellent service and staff! Got me in last minute for a check up so close to closing. They were very friendly and welcoming. Will be returning with my other kitties.

  The worse veterinary office to exit. Made a dog panting in pain and dying wait over an hour without even being triaged. Then tried to drag the dog to the back when she couldn't walk. When the owner got upset and told them off and wanted to take the dog somewhere else, but the dog couldn't even walk so the owner relented saying please just see my dog. A vet from the back having lunch who had no idea what was going on then threw her out and threatened to call the cops. The owner and dog were both in obvious distress. Completely heartless. I wish I could put negative stars. Obvious the vets only went into the career for the money and none of the right reasons.
