  Lots of pets to see and the staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. One of the staff named Andrew also shared some really cool facts about Clownfish that myself and family did not know. :)

  Extremely disappointing experience with Petco Grooming. I booked online, honestly completed both intake forms, took time off work, and brought both dogs in, only to be turned away. My Boxer slipped her collar while we were waiting (my fault because it wasn’t tight) A groomer named Beth came out from the back and immediately dropped to grab her without introducing herself or assessing her temperament. I understand she was trying to help, but her approach was unprofessional. Beth was trying to put the collar on my dogs neck and my German shepherd barked at her. She was also literally on her knees face level with both my dogs 🙄 I was then told my senior German Shepherd could not receive services because he was wearing a muzzle and in fairness he was barking at her. She said that store policy is any muzzled dog can not receive services. For clarity, I muzzle my large dog whenever in public since I was attacked by a pitbull a few years ago and it left my chihuahua without a leg. It’s just a security blanket for me. Regardless, I understood and just said that policy should be clearer but no worries I’d still like my other dog groomed. Then Beth went and talked to a manager and the manager came out to say my Boxer was being denied because of her jumping and Beth being uncomfortable with her. All behaviors (jumping and barking/not great with other dogs) were disclosed on the intake forms. Why ask customers to complete them if nobody reviews them before appointments 🤷‍♀️ Shelly, the manager, was courteous and apologized, she offered to have me bring my boxer back another day (which I denied but appreciate her offering) but this entire situation could have been avoided with basic communication. Read the forms you ask to be filled out lol I fully support safety policies, so again not super upset about my German shepherd but extremely mad about my boxer. She wasn’t even barking she was jumping like tigger 😅 girl was excited to get a bath. I wanted to give 0 stars but I have to give 1 star so I’ll say it’s for Shelly’s courtesy. The best part is they sent a text that said “sorry we missed you today…rebook” Anyway enjoy the pic of my poorly mannered dogs 😅

  Not the best experiencThey advertise special offers for a vet visit, but when I arrived for my dog's consultation, I was told the offer didn't apply to actual consultations—only to a visual check-up—and that I’d have to make a separate appointment for a diagnostic consultation. It’s ridiculous; I had to pay the regular price because they automatically voided the offer. Unfortunately, one of the assistants—a heavy-set white woman who wasn't wearing a visible name tag and didn't give me her name—was extremely rude and condescending. I’m giving two stars only because the veterinarian herself was reasonably decent; I definitely do not recommend this place for a sick pet or one needing immediate care.

  I had my fiancé take my 2-year-old chocolate Lab in for a grooming appointment. I booked a de-shedding shampoo along with teeth cleaning and nail filing. I’ve used Petco grooming in Orlando before, and the groomer there was absolutely wonderful. Honestly, that experience is the main reason I felt comfortable using Petco again. Unfortunately, saying this experience was underwhelming would be an understatement. My Lab’s nails are now all different shapes and lengths after supposedly being filed. I also paid extra for the de-shedding shampoo, but I genuinely can’t tell that it did anything. To be completely frank, when he came home, he didn’t even look or smell like he had received a bath. I went out of my way and paid for a professional grooming service because I expected a noticeably better result than what I could do myself at home. Instead, I’m kicking myself for spending the money when I could have done a better job myself. 0/10 experience. If you’re considering bringing your pup here for grooming, I’d recommend checking out a different location. I had a great experience at the Orlando Petco, so I know the quality can be there, it just wasn’t here. Otherwise, save your money and do it yourself. Based on my experience, you’ll probably be happier with the result.
