  Everyone at Vetco is incredible! Mathew was exceptional; he was incredibly knowledgeable and incredibly gentle with my puppy, Oakley. He was so kind and caring, and he explained everything to me in a thorough manner. The entire staff at Vetco in Boca Raton was wonderful, from making the appointment and fitting us in right away to checking us out. I highly recommend taking your pets there!

  I want to start by saying that everyone I interacted with was very kind and friendly. Unfortunately, my experience left me very disappointed. I purchased a puppy vaccine bundle that included a veterinary examination. My puppy was taken to the back for the exam rather than having it performed in the exam room with me present. I understand every clinic has different procedures, but as a new puppy owner, I would have appreciated being able to observe the examination and have the veterinarian discuss their findings with me directly. I also never even met the veterinarian who performed the examination, which made the experience feel impersonal and left me with no opportunity to ask questions about my puppy’s health. On top of that, I purchased the vaccine bundle and was specifically told that my puppy’s follow-up booster shot would be included. When I returned for the appointment two weeks later, I was unexpectedly charged an additional $120 on top of what I had already paid for the bundle. Had I been told from the beginning that the booster was not included, I would have made a different decision. What upset me even more was that no one discussed the cost with me before providing the vaccine. At every veterinary office I’ve ever visited, the staff has always reviewed the total cost and obtained my approval before administering any treatment or vaccine. That never happened here. I wasn’t told I would owe an additional $120 until after the service had already been completed, even though I had previously been told by an employee that my puppy’s booster shots were included as part of the vaccine package. In addition, I was surprised by the condition of the facility. The clinic appeared dirty during my visits, which is concerning in a veterinary setting where cleanliness is so important. While I genuinely appreciate how kind and caring the staff was, clear communication and transparency about pricing are just as important. Between the lack of communication, the unexpected charge, never meeting the veterinarian who examined my puppy, having the examination performed out of my sight without any discussion afterward, and the condition of the facility, I don’t feel confident returning or recommending this location.
