- MMMarya MarchettiSep 12, 20261.0I usually never leave reviews, but I felt like I had to after my experience with Banfield. I had their pet plan last year and it was absolutely not worth it. Even while paying monthly, I still ended up paying a lot extra for services. Every time I brought my dog in, I felt like I never got a clear diagnosis and was just told it was the same issue while being charged for more tests, medications, and services. After spending so much, I still felt like I had no real answers. Then I got a new credit card and forgot to update my payment information. A $191 balance was sent to collections, and I had absolutely no idea. I never received a letter, email, or any warning beforehand. I literally found out because it showed up on my credit report. Avoid this place. They just want your money and don’t actually care about helping your pets.
- ELEileen LinglSep 8, 20261.0I’d give zero stars if I could. My daughter brought her dog here. Instead of getting a proper diagnosis, they were too busy trying to sell their pet insurance. She landed up getting it and it barely covered anything. Her dog was never properly treated, even with tests and put on useless and expensive meds. I wouldn’t take a gerbil here. She’s finally found a great vet that truly listens.
- AGAnael GarridoAug 30, 20261.0I was disappointed with the staff at this location. I had to bear the brunt of their mistakes, as well as the lack of respect and responsibility shown by two employees, Mariana and Nia. This place lacks dedication, sensitivity, and integrity.
- FAFrederick AgnostakisAug 2, 20265.0Great caring professional staff. Vet gives expert guidance and advice to Pippa’s health. As a life long dog owner I can attest to excellence in Dog care!
Frequently Asked Questions About Banfield Pet Hospital
Does Banfield provide emergency care services?
No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
Can I drop off my pet to avoid contact?
We’re empowering our hospital teams to do what’s right for themselves, their clients and communities by taking a series of precautions from encouraging drop-offs to increasing cleaning protocols. Please call the clinic for more information.
Is this clinic open?
Hospital hours and services vary at some locations. If your pet requires immediate care, please call ahead so we can ensure your pet’s needs can be met and advise you on next steps. If you’re a Banfield Optimum Wellness Plan® client, you can connect with a veterinarian anytime, day or night, via Vet Chat™ through the Banfield app for general pet care advice and triage support.
What steps are you taking to keep pets and people safe right now?
We’re constantly evaluating the situation, and we’re empowering our hospital teams to do what’s right for themselves, their clients and communities by taking a series of precautions from encouraging drop-offs to increasing cleaning protocols. We’re also encouraging our Optimum Wellness Plan® clients to connect with a veterinarian 24/7 via our telehealth service Vet Chat™ through the Banfield app. Please call ahead to help our teams prepare.
What medical care are you able to provide right now?
COVID-19 may affect veterinary services offered at some locations. If your pet requires medical attention or care, please call your hospital directly, so the team can confirm availability and advise on next steps.
Can I get veterinary care online?
To help pets and their people stay healthy, Banfield clients who have Optimum Wellness Plans® can get remote general pet care advice and triage support directly from a veterinarian 24/7 through Vet Chat™ on the Banfield app.
What preventive pet health care services does Banfield offer?
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including:
• Vaccinations
• Dental Care
• Parasite Control
• Nutritional Counseling
• Behavioral Counseling
• Comprehensive Examinations
What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
