- OKOne of A Kind2 days ago5.0I love the Newark Petco. They’re always friendly and asking if you need help and very courteous and friendly at check out. It’s not always the most convenient location for me but I continue to go there because I know I’ll get help if I need it and can always find what I’m looking for or get help w finding whatever I’m not sure of.

The manager Jullian (not sure if I spelled it right is rude and very nasty. I came into the store to get large frozen mice for my daughter's snake and clearly I am not a fan but I asked if someone could get them for me because there were three people working there and she said the other two were groomers and they were off. I said can someone else get them because I dont want to touch them. Im afraid of course. She proceeds to say I dont tough them and pointed to the direction of the mice. I then asked for gloves and she said we dont have any and I asked for a scooper she said no. She came over to show me exactly where they were so i asked can i bring the bin they were in and put one on the counter and bring it back she says no and walked away. I found some scissors to pick them up and bought the mice over to the counter she proceeds to say in a nasty tone....can you tell me where you got them so I can put them back. I am writing this because it was the nasty and sarcastic undertone that she had. When I asked her name she walked away. Im not used to coming to ANY PETCO and not getting good customer service.
