Welcome to Colby's Dogcare & Spa We think dogs are pretty amazing. They are incredibly loyal, an endless source of comic relief, and a generous giver of nuzzles and cuddles when you need them most. They even helped a lot of us stay sane through endless months of quarantine. Dogs are always there for us, and we built a business around being there for them. We’re Colby Dogcare & Spa—a safe, clean and loving provider of luxury canine care, delivered by the world’s biggest dog lovers. We offer Daycare, Sleepovers, Grooming and Training, and our staff is focused on promoting healthy and happy dogs, while delivering convenience and peace-of-mind to the humans who love them. Colby’s is here to make sure no pet is left behind. We’d be honored to care for and spend time with your pups, so they’re less anxious during the day and happier when you return home.

I have been repeatedly disappointed by Colby’s despite repeatedly giving them the benefit of the doubt after each incident. The first time, Colby’s forgot that I was picking up my dog, lost her harness and leash, and charged me for a bath that they never gave my dog. I had to proactively request a refund and was only informed after I did so that someone had called out that day. If I hadn’t reached out, Colby’s would have never told me that they didn’t bathe my dog and would have kept the money. The second time, my dog came home reeking of urine and had matted fur. I was also charged for daycare fees for her first drop off day, even though I dropped her off during the late drop-off period (after 7pm), meaning Colby’s did not take care of my dog at all during the day but still wanted to charge me for it. I wasn’t informed of this policy beforehand. And regardless, I think it’s ridiculous that Colby’s would charge you for a service that they simply did not provide. During my dog’s last stay, she was on her heat cycle, and Colby’s said that I was required to upgrade her room to the most expensive luxury suite (even though I don’t recall ever seeing or hearing about this policy). My bill ended up being almost $600 instead of $400. My overall impression after all these interactions is that this is not a well-run, organized dogcare facility that will try to find ways to take as much money from you as possible, often in sneaky ways, so please be vigilant!!!

I recently scheduled my first grooming at Colby’s for my 6 year old bichon mix. Autum did a wonderful job and pup seemed to have a good experience. I also signed up for the daycare a while back and would consider signing up again. Will be returning

I had an excellent experience and rate the overall service 5 stars. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Amaris the groomer, listened carefully and compassionately to my special requests; Hercules' sensitivity to nail trims due to a bad experience, as well as the specific Lion cut I wanted. Amaris absolutely delivered!! Hercules looked even better than I expected! His cut was sharper and more polished than I imagined, and his heart-shaped birthmark is now visible again, which I love!! We’ll definitely be coming back!

Frequently Asked Questions About Colby's Dogcare and Spa

What are your vaccination requirements?

We take health and safety very seriously. To protect all pups in our care, we REQUIRE certification from your veterinarian that your pup has been vaccinated against: • Bordetella • Distemper (DHPP/DA2PP) • Rabies We also HIGHLY RECOMMEND: • Vaccinating your pup against Leptospirosis and Canine Influenza • Having an annual fecal screening Of course, no pups are admitted with ticks, fleas, or other pests, and all should have legal licenses.

How do I schedule Daycare for the first time?

For the safety and comfort of all our guests, all first-time Daycare pups complete an Assessment Day. You can think of an Assessment Day like a free day of Daycare. You can drop off your pup any time after 7am, but we recommend arriving between 9 am and 10 am and making sure you have 10-15 minutes available. That way we can make sure we have all your information and give you a tour of the facility. We ask that you leave your pup with us for a minimum of 6 hours so that we can get to know them and vice versa. We ask that you fetch your pup between 3 and 4 pm. When you come by to pick up your pup, we’ll discuss what kind of activities they enjoyed and who their new best pals are. To schedule an Assessment Day, submit a request here. We will get back to you confirming your reservation.
