  Drove an hour to this location for an item that both the website and the app said they had in stock. I got to the location and looked around. Could not find it. So I asked the cashier (the only employee in sight) if she knew where it could be found. She acted as if I was seriously invonveniencing her, and told me, nahh, I haven't seen those. I asked her if she can look it up, she sighed, typed in the skew #, and said, it says we have one, but I haven't seen it. I asked if we could look for it seeing as I just drove an hour to get it. She said she hadn't seen it, and if its not up by the register, she's not going to find it. And just kept brushing me off. Awful customer service experience. I'd take the extra time and drive to enfield.

  Called ahead and was told they did walk in services all day by male employee. Arrived and was told they do services 2-5pm and no walk ins on weekends after waiting over an hour. Manager(female long black hair) came over with employee(older male) I spoke to on the phone, both were extremely rude and when I asked their names(no name tags) they both said they didn’t have to tell me that and if I wanted to call corporate go ahead and say its Jay’s store. Never apologized just told me call somewhere else next time. Location was also very dirty and poorly taken care of which I can tell why if this is the attitude they have towards their customers and place of work. Would not return.

  I wish I could give this place a review in the negatives right now. I purchased a Cockatiel a few days ago, and she was half off. I thought nothing of the price reduction and happily bought her. I bring her home all is good and happy and 3 days later I wake up to her dead. I as most people would do when their pet dies I cried and buried her. Then I called asking about a refund, since she wasn’t cheap even at half off. On the phone I was told that I didn’t need the body, or the receipt, since I had used my phone number for the purchase. I thought wow that’s customer service, however when I show up little over an hour after I had called I’m told “Sorry but we actually do need the receipt or the body.” Key word is or. I said alright thank you and went home to try and find the receipt. Now I find in strange as to why they need the receipt when they were able to pull up the receipt off of my account but whatever. I go home and try to find it… Nothing. So again I call just a half hour ago and ask to speak to a manager directly, and this time am told I need BOTH the receipt and to dig up my dead birds body and bring him her corpse. I have been shopping at petco and this one specifically since I was a kid raised in Windsor, and through out my entire adult life since I’ve had my own account with petco I don’t think I’ve ever returned anything at all for a refund, and the one time I do I’m given false information both through the phone and to my face, and then I’m told I need to dig up my dead birds body, and bring it to them. I want to thank you all for absolutely nothing, and wish the manager specifically who I spoke to on the phone last the worst day possible.
