  I have been taking my dog Peaches here for over 7 years and I can't say enough good things about Dr. Gumprecht, Kathy the office manager, and the all of vet techs. They always greet me and Peaches with a smile, answer all of my questions (no matter how silly they are sometimes), and spend as much time with us as we need. My dog recently had an issue that lasted over 3 weeks. During that time we had 2 visits and I had to call the office many times. They were always patient with me, helpful, and showed genuine concern for Peaches. I would highly recommend Seymour Veterinary Hospital for your veterinary needs. Thank you Dr. Gumprecht, Kathy and office staff!

  I have been going to Seymour veterinary Hospital for decades, and they have been very kind and if I had questions, they took the time to answer them. The staff is phenomenal. I started with dogs, and after they went to heaven, I started adopting homeless, kittens, or cats.

  I would never bring my baby girl back to this vet as my first visit was one & done. I was told basically anything I feed my dog is going to kill her. He told me she should only be eating one protein but that gets boring.

  We are heartbroken over the loss of our dog, and our experience with this animal hospital made an already devastating time even more difficult. We did not feel we were properly educated on how to care for our dog’s condition or what to expect after the diagnosis. We left with more questions than answers and felt unprepared to provide the care our dog needed. Better communication and more thorough instruction could have made a significant difference during such a stressful time. When it came time to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanize our dog, we were billed more than we had been originally told. It felt excessive, especially considering the low level of support and guidance we had received throughout our dog’s care. Compassion, communication, and education are just as important as medical treatment, especially when families are facing difficult decisions. Unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed, unsupported, and financially burdened during one of the hardest experiences a pet owner can go through. I hope this practice takes steps to improve how it communicates with and supports families in the future.
