I’ve been going to banfield for the last 4 years, never seem to have an issue until today. My dog went in for a 1 week paw check up and came out with 2 bleeding wounds to the back of her back heals with noooo idea how she got them while being in Banfield’s care. She went in for a 8am drop off and picked up by 1:30pm and my dog came out with a butt full of smeared fecal and 2 bright red wounds to the back of her heal that my dog never had prior to her stay. I was first told those were old scratches (which was a lie b/c my dog went in with NO INJURIES) and even for the Dr to tell me she examined her when coming in and she had no injuries and then went on that she had no idea how they got there! I felt hurt b/c my dog was hurting from the injuries that she received in their care. I went on to continue telling the Dr i wanted this documented in her chart if her injuries got worse, the Dr nor the staff had any idea and didn’t seem to care about it. Really frustrating to have my dog come out worse than when she went in. The only reason why i went to the Plainfield location is b/c my dog needed immediate care. But now i don’t even trust my dog in their care! The pictures shows no justice b/c her wounds at this point were cleaned by the owner.

Went to them for the 1st time earlier this yr but unfortunately my 2nd visit the outcome no one wanted. My doggy Simba who was 9 yrs old had to be put to sleep so he can rest peacefully. Dr Brick was so kind, patient and listened to me when we spoke on the phone and let me vent without me realizing I was doing so. She was straightforward BUT kind. If that makes sense. They let me and my husband be in the room as long as we needed to before we part ways with our doggy/son and when I went to pick up his ashes their packaging was very sweet. Point is thank you guys 🤎💜

Our first visit, we were not given the proper full after care instructions and the directions on our medicine bottle were misleading as well. Our second visit however, was way more thorough. The vet tech/nurse give very specific step by step instructions with demonstrations. She followed those instructions with follow up questions to verify we understood her direction.

I brought my dog in for her wellness visit and asked to clean ears and trim nails. They cleaned her ears for additional 48 bucks and did not trim nails. I was told she doesn't like it and was too excited or something like that. Its a vet office with professional staff that should certainly be capable with dealing with the situation. Not happy with the uncharted on every little thing as the wellness plan prices have skyrocketed and I still didn't get done what I asked.
