    I was very disappointed with my experience at this veterinary clinic. I originally booked through their website because it advertised a “free first visit,” but when I arrived, no one seemed aware of this promotion until I brought it up and had to explain myself several times.That was an immediate red flag regarding communication and organization. My main reason for the visit was a simple ear cleaning and a basic physical checkup for my cat. However, the process did not feel thorough or clearly explained. I expected a more hands on examination, but the visit felt fragmented and cold and I did not receive clear communication about what was being done at each step. I specifically selected an appointment type that allowed pet owners to remain with their animals during the visit. Despite this, my cat was taken into a separate room without me, where she received a rabies vaccine. My cat is not comfortable being handled by strangers, so this was very upsetting, especially since I was under the impression I would be present throughout. I also did not meet the vet until the very end of the visit, which felt backwards compared to what I would expect from a standard exam. Throughout the appointment, additional charges were added that were not clearly explained in advance, which added to the frustration. When my cat was returned, her and her carrier was soiled, which made the experience even more upsetting because this is what I was trying to avoid. Finally, the payment process was also frustrating. I attempted to pay in cash, but I was told they did not have change. My husband had to leave to try to break the bill, and after he returned unsuccessful, change suddenly became available at the front desk. I also never got any paperwork for what was done to my cat or how much she weighed or anything. What I got was a receipt for my payment only after I asked for one. Overall, the lack of communication, unclear pricing, and handling of my pet made this a very stressful experience. I will not be returning. And to your response. I don’t want to email you on anything unless it’s to get my money back. Your establishment is lacking. “your aim” is to get as much money from people as possible. You don’t care about pet parents and all.

    We live in the Bronx, but I drive to the Norwalk location because I truly trust the doctors, nurses and office staff. VA Maria explained my fur babies diagnosis thoroughly and answered all of my questions [patiently]. Adrianna at the reception desk ALWAYS greets us with a smile and makes us feel comfortable right from the start.

    The staff at Banfield have been amazing these past couple of weeks! My dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes after already dealing with a difficult time personally. They’ve gone above and beyond to make sure my dogs received the proper treatment without making me feel like they’ve been trying to sell me on anything she doesn’t truly need. Anyone who owns a dog knows that when they get sick it’s not cheap, but the team at Banfield have made sure to help me out every step of the way however they can. They’ve made a difficult time a lot easier and I can’t be more grateful.

    This place is horrible....I had the wellness plan for my dog and I called to see if they can see her she eoke uo paralized one day she was 11 years old....they told me to come in and when I got there my dog started having hard time breathing when they saw me coming...nobody helped me or opened the door my dog was heavy and obviously I had hard time holding her....once I made it inside they literally saw my dog and told me the can't take care of her and to go to the emergency room.....I was literally crying screaming for help because I knew once I leave there my dog won't be able to make it....they did not care a bit and did nothing....I'm supposed to be paying for her plan and this place supposed to be a freaking hospital how is it possible they don't have equipment ready for occasions like this? They gave me an address and by the time I got there my dog was already gone....I'm so mad...I failed my dog....thanks Banfield!!!!
