  The cashier named Alexandra was sitting on a chair at the register when I approached to checkout. She made no eye contact, nor gave any greeting and appeared to be bothered. She never got up from the chair and was not helpful in the slightest. A gentleman who I believed was the manager came over to look for something, and he said nothing to her about sitting on the job etc. It was an unpleasant experience and very unprofessional. I’m a vital care customer so I pay Petco $17.99 a month for each of my dogs and I have never had this type of experience when I shopped at Petco. It seemed clear to me that Alexandra got her lazy, indifferent attitude about her job from the manager who was on duty because young people tend to follow management’s lead, and her behavior was never addressed. I was at the store yesterday and I got an email the next day asking for a review and I specifically still remembered Alexandra’s name because of how unprofessional she was. This was never the norm at this store prior, but it seems like it will be going forward

  Cashier was rude when I asked what the total was, item did not come up as clearance price. When I showed her she said the clearance price, clearly labeled with a sticker in the correct section, didn’t take effect for 3 days. I asked to pay the clearance price as it is the price listed and she said she wasn’t the one who put the sticker there. She ended up discounting it to the clearance price but didn’t take down the sticker or apologize. Rude throughout the encounter. I called to speak to a manager and no one answered the phone so I have reached out to corporate. Buyer beware- make sure you are given the correct price as advertised. I was calm and polite the entire time as a former retail employee and manager myself. Happy to update this post if things change.

  Great experience at Petco! They have a really good variety of fishes and aquarium supplies. The staff was very friendly, patient, and helpful in answering all our questions. Store was clean and well organized too. Definitely recommend for anyone starting or maintaining a fish tank!

  Manager with beard extremely rude, kicked me and Friend out of store after we bought stuff claiming we were stealing didn’t let me and my father purchase any fish cause he didn’t believe we were related absolutely awful customer service do not come to the store Even after I showed receipt
