  0 stars. They have a partnership with Marshall farms, which is the biggest ferret mill and monopoly on ferrets. In the united states, where the conditions are atrocious, waiting to inbreeding, doing experiments on ferrets, and having the nerve to charge five hundred dollars.Because there are no ferrets during covid.Because they were all being subjects in a study determining what was happening to their lungs when they were given covid. So the three hundred dollar price increase, it's due to that. The treatment of these inevitably unhealthy ferrets has caused every ever pet store to disassociate with marshall farms, while petco fully embraced it. Abuse neglects and having this knowledge and doing nothing about it. Besides making more money is not the kind of ethics. I want from any place.I enter never mind disguised under the illusion of "love for pets" "Marshall has been cited by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for more than 20 violations of the Animal Welfare Act since 2007.[3][12][13][14] Animal rights groups such as PETA have attacked Marshall in the past for breeding animals for scientific and medical research.[15][4] Whistleblowers have shown videos of the conditions of facilities.[16][12][17] Its facilities have drawn protesters.[18][6] The firm was the subject of an Animal Liberation Front raid in 2001, in which it was claimed that 10 ferrets and 30 beagles were removed from the complex.[19] Animal Rising removed 20 beagle puppies from a Cambridgeshire site in 2022.[20]" Bravo petco! Capitalizing off the backs of dead ferrets, while you count your money with your bloody hands. Let it be known for 300-350 dollars you can purchase an ethically bred ferret hand raised- in my experience living five years longer- from a local breeder, rather than feeding this ferrets mill. Most branches of pet supplies plus will assist you in obtaining one. Also, if the ferrets don't sell fast enough, they're not donated, they're not discounted, they're sent to a kill shelter. Are these the people you really want to be doing business with?

  Bought a 25lb bag of dog food earlier this week, it is contaminated with small bugs and moth like bugs. Over $60 wasted and when you call the store no one answers

  I experienced a significant lack of customer service during my recent visit. As a new fish owner, I was seeking assistance with upgrading my aquarium, but unfortunately, no staff member was available to provide guidance. Consequently, I departed the store without making a purchase. I believe there is a clear need for improved sales associate training and customer support within your organization.

  Wonderful staff. I love this store. The staff there are exceptional. Great selection and everything is easy to find. This is my go to store for all three of my pets.
