I am very disappointed with my experience at Animal Clinic of Milford. The staff was extremely nice and respectful, but the pricing was honestly not helpful at all. I brought my pet in for an ear infection the first time and paid $368, yet the issue was still not resolved. When I returned for the second visit, I explained that paying over $300 the first time was already very difficult for me financially. The doctor told me, “I assure you you won’t pay that amount today,” which made me feel relieved and understood. However, at the end of the visit I was still charged $302. I asked if there was any way they could help me with the pricing, and while the doctor explained that the medication itself was expensive, I was hoping there could at least have been some consideration or assistance with the vet visit cost itself. I understand veterinary care and medication can be expensive, but I left feeling unheard, frustrated, and disappointed after spending so much money twice without much compassion for my situation. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

We are always taken in to see a tech within a few minutes of our appointment time and the doctor follow up also occurs immediately after treatment of my dog. I am never kept waiting at any point. All staff are helpful and welcoming and can always answer my questions. The reception area and treatment rooms are clean and bright, and large enough to keep dogs a safe distance away. I have always been satisfied with all aspects of the clinic.

If no stars was a rating that's what would be given. They only care about money not the people or the pets they are taking it from. They gave me an appointment which I left work early for only to be told it was for the next day (not what I was told on the phone). When I got there I sat with someone who asked a bunch of questions who then said ok I am taking your pet to the back to be weighed and then left the room closing the door behind her when I went to follow. Weird but I waited 15 minutes and was wondering what was going on my pet was brought back in the room by the Dr telling me is perfectly normal upon physical exam. I feel like I was scammed 207 dollars for what I am unsure ( I was charged for an emergency visit which seems insane seeing we were seen 72 hours after I called), I saw nothing actually happen. I was not given any more information then what I read only on Google and was told the Dr thinks my pet is a boy but can't be sure because she states he is still too young to know (over a year old bearded dragon) ... I have had cats in the past never did they do the exam without me there to witness. I guess if your an exotic pet owner you don't get to see what they do to your pet? Then I am told to bring back a stool sample for another 107 dollar charge (which upon return was changed to 109.65? which I of course just paid because I am genuinely worried about my pet lethargic and not eating with blood in stool. No one gave me any directions for the stool test just collect stool and return, 24 hours after return I get a call saying testing is negative. I ask to speak to the vet regarding questions on the testing and collection as well as symptoms and 48 hours and 2 calls later no call back and no answers 10 days from my 1st call for the appointment.
I would never recommend anyone go here.

it's a really nice place This is also the case the staff and the veterinarian. I called the night before and had an appointment the next day. out of the dozen of places I called, animal clinic of Milford gave me the full service. if there's anything that I forgot to mention it would be I have a part-time job and it was a little pricey for me here. but then again, I have no other place to compare it to because this was my puppy's first visit.
all in all the phenomenal service, there are less expensive places, but they had me in there in under 12 hours, had everything I needed, and I even got a follow-up call to see how my dog is doing.

I’m sure the veterinarian care given to our cat was up to industry standards. However, dispassionate veterinary care is not what my elderly mom (86, widowed) need. She needed to know that Sam (her cat) would be loved as much by the staff as she loves Sam. It didn’t happen. No one showed any kind of warmth or empathy for either her or Sam. It was in and out. The front desk was particularly cold.
Mom’s lived in Milford for 36 years. She still sees Milford as the “sleepy” small town it used to be. Like it or not, taking care of a cat also means taking care of a “cat mom.”
I needed a vet that was in reasonable driving distance for someone her age. Now she doesn’t want go back to Animal Clinic of Milford. Next time you see a little old lady come in with her cat try hard.
