  The staff in the store are genuinely so helpful. I was in the market for fish, and this was like the first time I ever adopted any fish, and the staff was so helpful and recommending products and telling me which fish would be perfect for my tank that I have they were just genuinely so educated, and you can tell that they actually cared for the animals. I have been multiple days and every single time the staff was immaculate and they were just so amazing.

  I went in twice to buy birds a week apart. Everyone was helpful and nice. We got our first bird and it got lonely so we went and got another one. Very pleasant experience both times. The reason I took one star away is because I think they tell you whatever they think you want to hear when it comes to the gender of the birds. After doing my research, I understand it can be difficult to gender parakeets. But they both times told me I was buying female birds. I believe now that I have a male and a female and I am seriously hoping I dont end up with baby birds!

  The staff at our Petco location In Middletown CT are great. However corporate needs to update their computer system in ALL their stores. It is outdated!! The employees have told us they always have issues with it being slow and crashing. I have been a regular customer at Petco for many years and this issue has been going on ever since I started shopping there. Every time I check out….the computer system is so slow that we end up waiting for everything to catch up that the employee just scanned. It’s not the employees fault. The issue all falls on the hands of corporate Corporate you need to stop being cheap and invest all that profit you make from your customers and get a modern computer system that lets the employees and customers get the purchases done quickly.

  Excellent service !!!! The entire grooming staff is exceptional, the one who tended to my Lexi was Hannah. She was just so good with her and gentle. But I will say I have been grown by others. They are all fantastic great place for your pet and they are truly kind and compassionate and gentle with your pooch you can fully trust them exceptional care.!!!!

  Your inventory in the Middletown ct Washington Ave store is horrible...I went to purchase a filter cartridge for an imagitarium filter and you had none...I was told by your associate they would be in the following day...I returned the following day and you had 1 in stock... ridiculous..the filter is exclusive to Petco..it can not be purchased elsewhere.. I will be buying a new filter from another store...do better Petco...smh
