  Do NOT bring your pet here. Full stop. If you value your sanity, your wallet, or your dog’s well-being, turn around now. Seriously. This salon operates like a used car dealership. Except the upsells come with a side of gaslighting. You’ll be quoted one price, pressured into “necessary” add-ons you didn’t ask for, and handed a bill that makes no sense. Got a medical condition? Doesn't matter if your vet wrote a novel-length note on official letterhead. Even with a clean bill of health, a sedative prescription, and your vet on speed dial confirming your dog is perfectly safe, they'll still turn you away for "reasons we can't disclose." They won't put it in writing, of course because then you'd have proof. And proof is the one thing they refuse to honor. They don't want to groom your dog. They want to make you prove they should and they'll move the goalposts every single time. The staff? Indifferent at best. Hostile at worst. You’ll stand at the counter like a ghost while they chat over your head, and if your dog isn’t instantly “perfect,” they’ll invent a bizarre excuse to refuse service. I don't think they even clean their equipment at this point. Like what is your issue? It's like just say you have zero confidence grooming my dog because you can't do it and let me see someone who can like refer me to someone who can. Fr sorry my goldendoodle is too much for you. It’s not customer service it’s a petty operation run by people too busy designing their own custom business cards or whatever. This isn’t a grooming salon. It’s a trap with clippers. Save your money, your dignity, and most importantly, your dog’s trust. Go anywhere else. Literally anywhere. Like seriously just not THIS petco. At least the other petcos will explain why they can't groom your dog and refer you out to places that can support your pets health needs. Take it from me or don't maybe other people like coming here but I had a horrible time trying to advocate for my dogs needs here.

  I was helped by a young lady at the front named Gwen she was extremely helpful, super sweet and understanding! I hope the managers know they have a great employee! 10/10 service!

  Today 7/21/2026 at 8:55pm I walked into this location went to grab my dog treats and went to the front register. I waited 4 mins and no one came to help me. At 9:02pm, a woman walks out the back door and says “we’re closed.” And I as was refused service. Mind you, they didn’t close until 9 and I was waiting to be checked out before that. There was another customer in the store that was refused service as well. So clearly this location doesn’t close at 9. They close at 8:55pm and are allowed to do so. Corporate must be proud of their stellar work and customer service.

  I’ve been bringing my dog here since the summer of 2025, and I’ve always tried to be patient, but this experience was unacceptable. This is now the second time I’ve waited over four hours for my dog to be groomed. There were no text updates or phone calls to let me know they were running behind. After waiting three hours, I went to check on my dog and was told he still wasn’t finished and that it would be another hour/hour and a half. Just for me not to be able to get him for an additional 30 minutes. On top of that, this appointment had already been canceled twice before. What was even more upsetting was finding out that my dog had already been bathed and blow-dried but was waiting in a kennel while other dogs were being worked on. My pup has severe anxiety and doesn’t even use a kennel at home, so knowing he was sitting there waiting for an extended period was heartbreaking. If the salon was running that far behind, I should have been notified. Because the salon overbooked appointments, I had to miss work and completely rearrange my day waiting for my dog. I understand that delays can happen, but poor communication and repeated scheduling issues are not acceptable. There was no acknowledgment of the time I lost. Unfortunately, after multiple bad experiences, I won’t be returning to this Petco, and I can’t recommend it to others. Please respect your customers’ time and your customers’ pets just as much as you expect customers to respect your schedule.
